Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
One cannot make a fool of God or escape the consequences of their actions; ultimately, people will reap what they sow.
Below is a scriptural case—from the Bible itself—that when a nation rejects God, removes His authority, and abandons His commandments, the result is judgment, disorder, and loss of blessing. This is not partisan rhetoric; it is a consistent biblical pattern.
1. God clearly ties a nation’s blessing or curse to obedience
Deuteronomy 28:1–2, 15
“If you fully obey the LORD your God… all these blessings will come on you…
But if you do not obey the LORD your God… all these curses will come on you and overtake you.”
God does not speak only to individuals here—He speaks to a people, a nation.
Blessing follows obedience. Curses follow rebellion.
2. When God is forgotten, nations collapse
Psalm 9:17
“The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.”
This is not limited to ancient Israel.
God explicitly addresses nations that forget Him.
3. Removing God’s law brings moral chaos
Proverbs 29:18 (KJV)
“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”
When God’s law is removed:
- Moral clarity disappears
- People “cast off restraint”
- Social decay follows
Teaching that God’s commandments are “done away with” produces the very lawlessness Scripture warned about.
4. Rejecting God’s authority brings judgment through societal breakdown
Isaiah 1:2–4
“I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me…
Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity… they have forsaken the LORD.”
God describes national rebellion not merely as unbelief, but as abandonment.
Isaiah 24:5
“The earth is defiled under its inhabitants; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.”
Changing God’s moral order leads to defilement and judgment.
5. Driving God out of public life invites consequences
Romans 1:21–28
“Although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God…
God gave them over to a depraved mind…”
When societies:
- Reject God
- Suppress truth
- Redefine right and wrong
God’s judgment often takes the form of withdrawal, allowing chaos to follow.
6. Leaders are accountable for honoring God
Psalm 2:10–12
“Be wise now therefore, O ye kings… Serve the LORD with fear… Kiss the Son, lest He be angry.”
God expects rulers and governments to acknowledge Him.
When they don’t, judgment follows—not always instantly, but inevitably.
7. God warns against calling evil good and good evil
Isaiah 5:20
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil…
which put darkness for light, and light for darkness.”
This is a hallmark of a nation under judgment—moral inversion.
8. The remedy is repentance, not politics
2 Chronicles 7:14
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven… and heal their land.”
God does not say:
- Vote harder
- Protest louder
He says:
- Humble yourselves
- Repent
- Return to Him
Summary (Biblical Pattern)
Scripture shows a consistent truth:
- God honors nations that honor Him
- God withdraws blessing from nations that reject Him
- Removing God from law, education, and leadership leads to:
- Moral confusion
- Social decay
- Loss of protection and peace
This is not new.
It is exactly what Scripture said would happen.
WE HAVE SOWN THE WIND
WE ARE REAPING THE WHIRLWIND
