Passover, NOT EASTER!
Learn Yahweh's plan of salvation based on His 7 annual Holy Days.
And how Satan counterfeits them with his pagan holidays like Easter and Christmas.
This study shows Yahweh’s plan, followed up by Satan’s counterfeit. PAGAN holidays.
🌾 Yahweh’s Holy Days = His Plan of Salvation
Yahweh’s appointed times (Leviticus 23) are not random observances—they form a step-by-step outline of His plan to save mankind. Each Holy Day reveals a specific stage in that plan.
1. Passover — The Sacrifice for Sin
Meaning:
- The lamb slain in Exodus 12
- Fulfilled by Yeshua as the sacrifice for sin (1 Corinthians 5:7)
What it pictures:
➡️ The beginning of salvation — forgiveness through sacrifice
Common substitution:
- Easter
Shifts focus to symbols like eggs and rabbits, removing the Passover foundation
2. Feast of Unleavened Bread — Removing Sin
Meaning:
- Leaven represents sin (1 Corinthians 5:6–8)
- Removing leaven = removing sin from life
What it pictures:
➡️ The believer’s response — repentance and obedience
Modern equivalent:
- None — this step is largely missing
3. Pentecost — Firstfruits of the Harvest
Meaning:
- Firstfruits offering
- Giving of the Spirit (Acts 2)
What it pictures:
➡️ Yahweh is calling a first group now, not the whole world yet
Common shift:
- Often reduced to a past event instead of an ongoing calling
4. Feast of Trumpets — The Return of the King
Meaning:
- Trumpets announce the arrival of a king
What it pictures:
➡️ The return of Yeshua and the resurrection (1 Thessalonians 4:16)
Modern equivalent:
- Largely ignored as an observance
5. Day of Atonement — Removal of Satan
Meaning:
- Two goats: one sacrificed, one removed
- Symbolizes sin being fully dealt with
What it pictures:
➡️ Satan removed → mankind reconciled to Yahweh
Modern equivalent:
- Missing entirely in most traditions
6. Feast of Tabernacles — The Kingdom on Earth
Meaning:
- Dwelling in temporary shelters
- Celebrating the harvest
What it pictures:
➡️ The 1000-year reign of Yeshua on earth (Zechariah 14)
Common substitution:
- Christmas
Focus shifts to birth traditions instead of the coming Kingdom
7. Last Great Day — Final Judgment & Eternal Life
Meaning:
- Final resurrection and judgment (Revelation 20)
What it pictures:
➡️ All mankind given opportunity → eternal life or final judgment
Common replacement:
- Simplified ideas of immediate heaven or hell at death
