Yahweh’s appointed times (Leviticus 23) are not random observances—they form a step-by-step outline of His plan to save mankind. Each Holy Day reveals a specific stage in that plan.

1. Passover — The Sacrifice for Sin

Meaning:

• The lamb slain in Exodus 12
• Fulfilled by Yeshua as the sacrifice for sin (1 Corinthians 5:7)

What it pictures:
➡️ The beginning of salvation — forgiveness through sacrifice

Common substitution:

• Easter
  Shifts focus to symbols like eggs and rabbits, removing the Passover foundation

2. Feast of Unleavened Bread — Removing Sin

Meaning:

• Leaven represents sin (1 Corinthians 5:6–8)
• Removing leaven = removing sin from life

What it pictures:
➡️ The believer’s response — repentance and obedience

Modern equivalent:

• None — this step is largely missing

3. Pentecost — Firstfruits of the Harvest

Meaning:

• Firstfruits offering
• Giving of the Spirit (Acts 2)

What it pictures:
➡️ Yahweh is calling a first group now, not the whole world yet

• Often reduced to a past event instead of an ongoing calling

4. Feast of Trumpets — The Return of the King

• Christmas
  Focus shifts to birth traditions instead of the coming Kingdom

7. Last Great Day — Final Judgment & Eternal Life

Meaning:

• Final resurrection and judgment (Revelation 20)

What it pictures:
➡️ All mankind given opportunity → eternal life or final judgment

Common replacement:

• Simplified ideas of immediate heaven or hell at death
