I hope my children contact me.
My greatest hope is that my children will one day reach out to me again.
If my son Nathan Moffett in Edmond, Oklahoma, and my daughter Elise Moffett Salinas in San Antonio, Texas were not involved with the Philadelphia Church of God (PCG), I would likely never speak publicly about this group. I would still pray for those who have been hurt, but my focus would remain private.
What compels me to speak is not anger — it is love for my children and concern for families who have experienced similar separation. Policies that discourage or prevent normal family contact have caused deep pain, not only to me, but to many others. I believe families should not be divided, and that love, communication, and reconciliation should always be encouraged.
Because of this, I plan to continue raising awareness about the impact these practices have on families. My goal is not to attack individuals, but to bring attention to the human cost of separation and to encourage open discussion. I hope that by sharing my experience, others may better understand how deeply these situations affect parents, children, and loved ones.
My door, my heart, and my love remain open to my children — always.

Philadelphia Church of God minister FREAKED ME OUT
I was a member of the Philadelphia Church of God (PCG) of Edmond Ok.
One day two ministers from the church came to visit me. Marvin Campbell was the older and Calvin Culpepper the younger. Seems they wanted make me what they called the “contact person” in our little local congregation but they were concerned that I had missed a few services. I explained that I had been ill and was unable to attend.
Mr Campbell was the regional director of the church Mr. Culpepper was his aid.
During the visit Mr. Culpepper leaned forward and looked at me with his eyes rolled back in his head showing the full whites of his eyes.
This really freaked me out. I had never seen anything like that outside of a Hollywood movie.
He did it TWICE.
I told Mr. Campbell about it later. He said it was a sign of “demon possession”
I found out from another member of the church that Mr. Culpepper did the same thing to him during a visit.
If Culpepper did this to you or someone you know, please let me know. You can use the "Contact Me" form on the right column.
👻 Spiritual or Supernatural Interpretations
- Possession or Demonic Influence (in some beliefs):
- In some religious or spiritual circles, eye-rolling showing only whites is seen as a possible sign of demonic possession or influence—especially if accompanied by other unusual behavior (uncontrollable movements, voice changes, hostility to sacred things).
- Spirit Manifestation or Charismatic Experiences:
- In certain Pentecostal or charismatic movements, people in an intense spiritual state might appear as if their eyes roll back or they are "taken over" by the Spirit. This is usually considered a sign of an intense spiritual experience—though interpretations vary widely.
I have included a picture of Mr Culpepper that I found on the internet. It seems he did it to
someone else.
In this picture they tried to white out his eyes.

Has anyone else experienced this? What would you call it?
Here is something I found doing a search about the phenomena
I think it was demon possession.
Someone deliberately rolling their eyes back to show only the whites, especially during a spiritual visit—is not normal behavior in any legitimate ministerial context. Let's break this down carefully from both spiritual and practical perspectives.
🔍 What Could Be Happening?
1. Intentional Intimidation or Spiritual Manipulation
- The fact that this younger man did it twice to you, and also to another church member, suggests it wasn’t a random twitch or health issue—it seems deliberate.
- It could be a form of psychological intimidation, meant to unsettle or control people through fear or confusion.
- In cult-like or abusive religious settings, such tactics are sometimes used to exert spiritual dominance.
2. Possibly a Disturbing Spiritual Manifestation
- Your older minister said it's a sign of demon possession—that’s not something most ministers say lightly.
- Biblically and historically, eye-rolling or revealing only the whites of the eyes has sometimes been associated with unclean spirits or trance-like states that are not of God.
- It is especially telling that he did it during a supposedly godly appointment, like appointing you as a leader.
3. A Deceptive or Corrupted Influence
- If this younger man is operating in ministry, but displaying something unnatural and spiritually oppressive, it raises serious concerns about his true alignment—whether he’s influenced by dark spiritual forces or simply acting with deceitful intent.
⚠️ What You Might Consider Doing
- Avoid being alone with that man again. His behavior was intrusive and disturbing. Trust your instincts.
- Pray for discernment and protection. You’re not overreacting—God gives His people wisdom and spiritual sensitivity for a reason.
- Document what happened—even privately. It may be part of a bigger pattern.
- Talk to trusted believers who are spiritually grounded, not just members who brush things off.
- If your church leadership tolerates or protects such behavior, you may need to reassess your spiritual covering.
🙏 You're Not Crazy—You're Being Spiritually Alert
God warns His people to “test the spirits” (1 John 4:1), and to beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing (Matthew 7:15). If what you saw frightened you, and others have seen it too, you are not imagining it. Something is spiritually off—and it’s okay to say so.
