Let’s explore the prophetic framework

1. U.S. Is Modern Manasseh (End-Time Israel)

• The United States = Manasseh
• Great Britain = Ephraim
  These are the two sons of Joseph (Genesis 48:19–20), who were prophesied to become a great people (Manasseh) and a company of nations (Ephraim).

Genesis 49:1

“And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.”

Genesis 49:22–24 (about Joseph’s descendants – Ephraim & Manasseh)

“Joseph is a fruitful bough... The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him... but his bow abode in strength...”

These blessings apply to the English-speaking nations in modern times. But end-time prophecies also warn of punishment for disobedience.

2. Prophetic Warnings to Modern Israel

These prophecies, while originally to ancient Israel, are dual—having a future, end-time fulfillment on the U.S. and Britain.

a) Leviticus 26 – Curses for Disobedience

“And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant... and I will scatter you among the heathen...” (vv. 25, 33)

This chapter warns that if Israel rejects God’s laws, He will send famine, disease, war, and captivity.

b) Deuteronomy 28 – Blessings and Curses

If Israel obeys, they are blessed. If not:

“The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies... thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword... The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far...” (vv. 25, 37, 49)

This refers to an end-time invasion of the U.S. by a foreign (possibly European) power.

3. Jeremiah’s Prophecies Against “Israel”

Jeremiah was a prophet to Israel and Judah, but his message was for the end time, as many of his prophecies were never fulfilled anciently.

Jeremiah 30:3, 7

“I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah... Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble…”

“But he shall be saved out of it.” (v. 7)

The “time of Jacob’s trouble” is the Great Tribulation, and Jacob = all 12 tribes (including Manasseh = U.S.).

4. Hosea – Ephraim’s (Britain’s) and Israel’s (America’s) Fall

Hosea 5:5

“Therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity; Judah also shall fall with them.”

Hosea 5:9

“Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.”

“I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence...” (v. 15)

This means national punishment before Christ returns.

5. Ezekiel’s Prophecies – Captivity of Modern Israel

Ezekiel was written after Israel had already gone into captivity, yet he prophesies a future captivity—therefore many see this as end-time.

Ezekiel 5:12

“A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence... a third part shall fall by the sword... and I will scatter a third part into all the winds...”

Ezekiel 6:6

“In all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid waste...”

This is a prophecy of modern warfare and destruction of the U.S. and Britain.

6. Daniel 11 – Rise of the Beast Power

Daniel 11:40–45 as describing a European Beast power (King of the North) invading and defeating the modern descendants of Israel (U.S., U.K., etc.) before attacking the Middle East.

7. Revelation 12 – Church Protected, Nation Not

Revelation 12:14

“And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness... from the face of the serpent.”

Some believe the Church is taken to a place of safety, but the nation is left to suffer.

Conclusion:

According to Prophecy 

• The U.S. will be punished for national sins (abortion, immorality, idolatry, Sabbath-breaking)
• Destruction will come suddenly through war, economic collapse, and foreign invasion
• This will happen before or at the start of the Great Tribulation, during the “Time of Jacob’s Trouble”
• Only a small remnant (obedient Church) will be protected by God

Will the United States Be Destroyed Before the Tribulation?

Bible prophecy teaches the U.S. and Britain, are the tribes of Manasseh and Ephraim.

1. Modern Identities of Israelite Tribes

• U.S. = Manasseh (the "great nation")
• Britain = Ephraim (the "company of nations")
• Based on Genesis 48:19-20 and Genesis 49, these blessings are applied to modern descendants of Joseph.

2. Punishment Prophesied for End-Time Israel

• Leviticus 26 & Deuteronomy 28: Outline blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience, including war, famine, pestilence, and captivity.

"I will bring a sword upon you... and I will scatter you among the heathen." (Leviticus 26:25, 33)

"The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far..." (Deuteronomy 28:49)

• These prophecies apply to the modern descendants of Israel (the U.S. and U.K.).

3. Time of Jacob's Trouble

• Jeremiah 30:7: "Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it."
• Jacob includes all 12 tribes, especially Ephraim and Manasseh.
• The U.S. will face this tribulation as part of God's punishment.

4. Hosea's Warnings to Ephraim and Israel

• Hosea 5:5: "Therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity."
• Hosea 5:9: "Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke..."
• These verses are taken to point toward national collapse in the last days.

5. Ezekiel's End-Time Captivity Prophecies

• Ezekiel prophesied after Israel had already fallen, so these are future events.

"A third part... shall die... a third... fall by the sword... a third... scattered." (Ezekiel 5:12)

"In all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid waste..." (Ezekiel 6:6)

• Describing modern warfare and destruction of American cities.

6. Daniel 11 and the Beast Power

• Daniel 11:40-45 describes a final war involving the "King of the North" (interpreted as a European Beast power) conquering nations.
• The U.S. will fall to this power before it moves into the Middle East.

7. Revelation 12 and the Church's Protection

• Revelation 12:14: The Church (symbolized by the woman) is taken to a place of safety.
• The nation (U.S.) is not protected and undergoes tribulation.

Conclusion: The Fall Before the Tribulation

The Bible shows that the U.S. will fall due to national sins such as:

• Sabbath-breaking
• Idolatry
• Abortion
• Sexual immorality
• Rejection of God's commandments

This fall will involve:

• Military defeat
• Economic collapse
• Invasion and captivity

This destruction will happen just before or at the beginning of the Great Tribulation, leading into the final 3.5 years of end-time events.
