And now with a nation wide drought it's not going to get any better.

About 90% of food dollars are spent on JUNK that should NOT be eaten, or even allowed to be sold. Everyone should JERF, Just Eat Real Food. That would save 90% on your food bill.

Start growing your own vegetables.

It’s a lot easier than you think. Most everyone can have their own INDOOR garden, YEAR ROUND. Where they can grow all the fresh vegetables their family needs. Even in winter. You can do it in a single room or an apartment as well as a house.

The Tanks

It's been a fairly mild winter here in central Kentucky. We did have a short bitter cold spell. I've seen worse. No matter the outside weather I still have an indoor garden in a spare bedroom turned office and now hydroponic room. I use the Kratky Method. It's so simple. No hoses, no pumps. Just set it and forget it. It's so nice to be able to harvest fresh greens in the comfort of your home, in your pajamas. YEAR ROUND.

I've planted many vegetables. A few of my favorites that are so easy are. Kale, Spinach, Lettuce, and Onions. I've planted Tomatoes, Peppers, and even Bush Cucumbers.  I love to make my own Kale chips. I'll post more on that. 

Here is my Kratky Hydroponic garden. I use 10 gallon Rubbermaid Totes I buy used at Goodwill. New Rubbermaid Totes will cost about $20 each. Used ones from Goodwill run around $3. I found the 10 gallon to be the best size.

Color doesn't matter. Make sure you get lids to go with them.

You will need to cut holes in the Rubbermaid tote lids. If you buy used totes from Goodwill stores make sure you buy ones with lids. If you can't find them with lids, you can always use styrofoam sheets cut to size. You can buy the green styrofoam insulation board from a hardware store and cut it to size your self.  Use a hole saw the size of the net pots you will be using in the tote. I use 2 inch, 3 inch and 4 inch Net Pots.

Nutrients

The next thing you have to consider is nutrients for your tanks.  There are many sources of nutrients available. I've tried a few different ones. There are organic nutrients. And you can make your own. Learn more about nutrients here.

Along with nutrients you should have to consider water. I do not recommend tap water. I use rain water. I have several 275 gallon IBC totes hooked to the downspouts on my shop. If you use IBC totes make sure you use food grade.

The nice thing about hydroponics is you can grow indoors or outdoors. If you have a green house or bright sunroom that's all the light you need. 

If you are going to be growing indoors you will need grow lights.  I started out with Fluorescent tube grow lights. I still have them. NOW I use LED grow lights. LEDs are much lighter, cheaper and cost about half to operate than the fluorescent lights.

Planting Medium

You will need Planting Medium to put in your net pots to start your seeds and grow plants.

There are a couple things you can use. Some people use Rock Wool, some use Coconut Coir. I've tried both. I prefer the Coconut Coir. Coir, also called coconut fibre, is a natural fibre extracted from the outer husk of the coconut.  

Rock Wool Planting Cubes is made of material formed by spinning molten mineral or rock.

Seeds

You'll Need Lots of Seeds

And of course you will need seeds. With hydroponics you use the same seeds you use in an outdoor garden. You can purchase seeds from many sources, even at Walmart. 

One Company I like to use is True Leaf Market. It is an online site. They have all kinds of seeds. Check them out.

What you plant is up to you. You can plant in tanks, large jars, and buckets For larger plants like tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers you will want to use a 5 gallon bucket.

Yeshua Will Separate The Sheep From The Goats

 

what does it mean, Yeshua will separate the sheep from the goats?
When Yeshua says He will “separate the sheep from the goats,” He’s using a simple picture people in His time understood—but it carries a very serious meaning.
This study shows what this means and that Yeshua separates the sheep from the goats at His return to set up the kingdom on Earth.

📖 The Source: Gospel of Matthew 25:31–46

🐑 Sheep vs 🐐 Goats — What’s the Difference?

🐑 Sheep (on His right hand)

These represent people who:

• Obey Him
• Show mercy, love, and compassion
• Care for others (feeding, helping, visiting)
• Truly follow Him—not just in words, but in action

👉 He calls them “blessed” and invites them into the Kingdom.

🐐 Goats (on His left hand)

These represent people who:

• Do not obey
• Ignore others in need
• May claim belief—but don’t live it out
• Reject His authority in how they live

👉 He calls them “cursed” and they are separated from Him.

⚖️ What “Separate” Really Means

This is not about animals—it’s about judgment.

Yeshua is describing a moment when:

• He divides all people into two groups
• There is no middle ground
• Each person is judged by their actions revealing their true heart

👉 The separation shows who truly belongs to Him—and who does not

⏱️ When Does This Happen?

According to the passage:

• It happens when Yeshua returns in glory
• He sits on His throne
• All nations are gathered before Him

This is a kingdom event, not something spread out over time.

🔥 The Core Meaning (Plain and Direct)

• It’s about REAL vs FAKE faith
• Not what people say, but what they do
• Whether someone truly lives in obedience to Him

⚠️ The Sobering Point

Many people assume they are “sheep”…

…but this teaching warns:

• Some who think they follow Him
• Will actually be placed with the goats

Because their lives didn’t match His commands.

This question comes down to which judgment Matthew 25 is describing and how it fits with the rest of Scripture.

📖 The Key Passage

Matthew 25:31–32

“When the Son of Man comes in His glory… then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.”

🕰️ When does this happen?

🔹 1. At Yeshua’s Return (Beginning of the Kingdom)

This passage itself places the timing clearly:

• “When the Son of Man comes in His glory” → His return
• “Then He will sit on His throne” → beginning of His reign
• “All nations gathered” → survivors of the nations, not the dead

What this means:

This is NOT the final judgment after the 1000 years.

Instead, it is:
👉 A judgment of the living nations at His return
👉 Determines who enters the Kingdom in the flesh

• Sheep → allowed into the Kingdom (Matthew 25:34)
• Goats → removed/destroyed (Matthew 25:41,46)

🔹 2. NOT the Judgment After the 1000 Years

The judgment after the 1000 years is described in:

Revelation 20:11–15

• The dead are raised
• Books are opened
• This is the Great White Throne Judgment

Key differences:

Sheep & Goats (Matthew 25)	Great White Throne (Revelation 20)
Happens at His coming	Happens after 1000 years
Deals with the living nations	Deals with the dead raised
People enter the Kingdom	Final judgment → lake of fire
Earthly kingdom begins	End of all things

🔥 Important Insight

At Yeshua’s return:

• Some people are still alive on earth
• They are judged based on their actions (how they treated “these my brethren”)
• The righteous enter the Kingdom as physical humans
• This explains how there are still nations during the 1000 years

📌 Bottom Line

👉 The sheep and goat separation happens at Yeshua’s RETURN,
when He sets up His Kingdom on earth — NOT after the 1000 years.

The “Thief on the Cross” – MISUNDERSTANDING

Yeshua was NOT telling the thief on the cross that he would be with Him in heaven that day.  No one has gone to heaven except Yeshua. And He didn't go that day.

Here is a study that explains this common misunderstanding among those who do not study the scriptures.

This is a question that comes down to two key scriptures and how they’re translated and understood:

1. The “Thief on the Cross” – Luke 23:43

Most English Bibles read:

“Truly I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

That sounds like the thief goes to heaven that same day—but the issue is punctuation.

🔎 Important fact:

The original Greek manuscripts had no commas.

So the verse can also be read as:

“Truly I say to you today, you will be with me in paradise.”

👉 In this reading:

• “today” modifies when Yeshua is speaking
• NOT when the thief enters paradise

Why this matters:

• Yeshua often used phrases like “I say to you today” for emphasis (see Deuteronomy 30:18 style Hebrew expression)
• The promise is certain, not immediate

2. Yeshua Did NOT Go to Heaven That Day

After His resurrection, Yeshua told Miriam:

👉 John 20:17

“I have not yet ascended to the Father”

That’s critical:

• This was after the crucifixion
• So He did NOT go to heaven the day He died

👉 Therefore:
The thief could not have been with Him in heaven that day either

3. What Did Yeshua Mean by “Paradise”?

“Paradise” is often assumed to mean heaven—but scripture connects it to:

👉 Revelation 2:7

“the tree of life… in the paradise of God”

👉 Revelation 22:1-2

This is:

• The Kingdom of God
• The restored earth
• After resurrection—not immediately after death

4. No One Has Gone to Heaven

Yeshua plainly said:

👉 John 3:13

“No one has ascended to heaven except the Son of Man”

That includes:

• David
• Prophets
• All mankind

5. Even King David Is Still Dead

👉 Acts 2:34

“David did not ascend into the heavens”

👉 Acts 2:29

So:

• A man after Yahweh’s own heart
• Still in the grave
• Awaiting resurrection

6. The Dead Are Asleep (Not in Heaven)

👉 Ecclesiastes 9:5

“The dead know nothing”

👉 Daniel 12:2

“Many who sleep in the dust… shall awake”

👉 1 Thessalonians 4:16

Pattern:

• Death = sleep
• Resurrection = future event
• Not immediate heaven

7. The Thief’s Hope = FUTURE KINGDOM

Look at what the thief actually asked:

👉 Luke 23:42

He said:

“WHEN you come into your kingdom”

✔ Not “take me today”
✔ He understood a future reign

🔥 Final Conclusion

• The comma in Luke 23:43 is man-added
• Yeshua did not go to heaven that day (John 20:17)
• No man has ascended to heaven (John 3:13)
• The dead are asleep, awaiting resurrection
• The thief will be with Yeshua in the Kingdom—at His return
