Judah and Israel Are Brothers

A Biblical Answer to Hatred Against the Jewish People

With the growing hatred of Jewish people or Jews as they are called.

Scripture and history shows that the Jews are descendant from one of the 12 tribes of Israel and as such are brothers to the white people of the United States and British commonwealth nations, like Canada, Ireland, Australia…

The United States, and white British commonwealth nations like Canada, Ireland, Australia… are descendants of the “lost” tribes of Israel.

The Jewish people are not their enemies. They are their Israelite brothers and sisters.

1. Israel Was Composed of Twelve Tribes

Israel was not a single tribe. Yahweh established the nation through the twelve sons of Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel.

“Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel.”
—Genesis 32:28

The descendants of Jacob’s sons became the tribes of Israel:

• Reuben
• Simeon
• Levi
• Judah
• Dan
• Naphtali
• Gad
• Asher
• Issachar
• Zebulun
• Joseph—represented through Ephraim and Manasseh
• Benjamin

The name Jew comes from Judah. Judah was one part of the larger family of Israel.

Therefore:

All Jews are Israelites, but not all Israelites were from the tribe of Judah.

2. The Kingdom Divided Into Two Houses

After Solomon’s death, the nation divided.

The northern kingdom became known as:

• The House of Israel
• Israel
• Ephraim
• Joseph

The southern kingdom became known as:

• The House of Judah
• Judah

“So Israel has been in rebellion against the house of David to this day.”
—1 Kings 12:19

“There was none who followed the house of David, but the tribe of Judah only.”
—1 Kings 12:20

Benjamin and many Levites also remained with Judah. Consequently, the Jewish people are not necessarily descended from Judah alone. They historically include descendants of Judah, Benjamin, Levi, and others who joined themselves to Judah.

The two kingdoms were separated politically, but they remained members of the same extended family.

3. Judah and Israel Were Brothers

Yahweh repeatedly described the relationship between the two houses as that of sisters.

“Then I saw that for all the causes for which backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a certificate of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear.”
—Jeremiah 3:8

Israel and Judah sinned against Yahweh in different ways, and both were punished. Nevertheless, Yahweh never forgot that they came from the same father.

Judah descended from Jacob. Ephraim and Manasseh descended from Jacob. Reuben, Dan, Gad, Asher, and the other tribes also descended from Jacob.

They were brothers by birth, even when they behaved like enemies.

4. Because They Kept The 7th Day Sabbath, Judah Was Not “Lost” in the Same Manner

The northern House of Israel was conquered by Assyria and carried away.

“Then the king of Assyria carried Israel away captive to Assyria.”
—2 Kings 17:6

More than a century later, Judah was conquered by Babylon. Yet a remnant of Judah returned to Jerusalem after the Babylonian captivity. This helped preserve Jewish identity, Scripture, worship, and history.

The northern tribes became much harder to identify. This is why they are often called the “lost ten tribes.” They were not lost to Yahweh, however. He knew where their descendants were.

“For surely I will command, and will sift the house of Israel among all nations, as grain is sifted in a sieve; yet not the smallest grain shall fall to the ground.”
—Amos 9:9

5. Britain and America Contain Israelite Descendants, Judah Is Their Brother

Ephraim and Manasseh are represented prominently among Britain, the United States, and related populations. This identification is a fact that can be established through scripture and history.

Therefore the people of Israel descent through Ephraim, Manasseh, or another tribe cannot logically hate the descendants of Judah.

Joseph and Judah were brothers. Their modern descendants, would therefore belong to the same ancestral family.

“Moreover, you son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it: ‘For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, his companions.’ Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, and they will become one in your hand.”
—Ezekiel 37:16–17

This prophecy does not picture Ephraim destroying Judah. It pictures Yahweh reuniting Judah and Israel.

6. Hatred of Jewish People Is Hatred of One’s Brother

Antisemitism cannot be justified by Scripture. People must not blame every Jewish person for the actions of an individual, a government, or any religious or political organization.

Yahweh commands:

“You shall not hate your brother in your heart.”
—Leviticus 19:17

“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
—Leviticus 19:18

To those who descend from another tribe of Israel, these commands become even more personally significant. They are condemning people who are members of  their ancestral family.

No faithful Israelite should despise Judah. No faithful person from Judah should despise the other tribes. Both houses need Yahweh’s mercy, repentance, and restoration.

7. Yeshua Himself Came From Judah

Yeshua was born among the Jewish people and descended from Judah.

“For it is evident that our Master arose from Judah.”
—Hebrews 7:14

The apostles were Jewish Israelites. The Scriptures were preserved largely through the Jewish people. Paul wrote:

“What advantage then has the Jew? … Much in every way! Chiefly because to them were committed the oracles of Yahweh.”
—Romans 3:1–2

A person cannot claim to honor Yeshua while nurturing hatred for the people among whom He was born.

This does not mean that every Jewish belief or action is correct. Scripture permits us to examine and disagree with anyone’s teachings or conduct. But disagreement must never become racial hatred, collective blame, cruelty, or violence.

8. Yahweh Will Reunite the Whole Family

Yahweh’s ultimate plan is not permanent hostility between Judah and Israel.

“The envy of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not harass Ephraim.”
—Isaiah 11:13

“In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together.”
—Jeremiah 3:18

“I will make them one nation in the land.”
—Ezekiel 37:22

Yahweh will remove the hostility, envy, rivalry, and resentment that have divided the family of Israel.

Conclusion

Since the United States, Britain, and populations within Britain’s historically connected nations are the descendants of the northern tribes, then the Jewish people are not a foreign race whom they should hate. Judah and Joseph came from the same father, Israel.

But our obligation to reject antisemitism does not depend upon proving British-Israelite ancestry. Yahweh created all people, and Scripture condemns hatred, false accusation, partiality, and collective guilt.

The biblical message is clear:

Judah and Israel are brothers. Yahweh’s purpose is not their mutual destruction, but their repentance, reconciliation, and restoration under Yeshua the Messiah.

The Proof of Our Creator, Elohim

How We Can Know Him and Recognize Him

“The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no Elohim.’”
—Psalm 14:1

The universe did not create itself. Life did not come from lifelessness without a cause. Order, intelligence, conscience, beauty, and purpose all point beyond creation to a Creator.

Scripture identifies that Creator as Yahweh, our Elohim.

Yahweh does not ask us to believe without evidence. He has revealed Himself through His creation, His written Word, His righteous commandments, His dealings with humanity, and most clearly through His Son, Yeshua the Messiah.

1. Creation Proves There Is a Creator

“The heavens declare the glory of Elohim; and the firmament shows His handiwork.”
—Psalm 19:1

A building proves there was a builder. A painting proves there was a painter. A written message proves there was a writer. In the same way, creation points to a Creator.

The heavens operate according to precise laws. The earth is situated to sustain life. Living creatures contain astonishingly complex systems. Human beings possess intelligence, emotion, creativity, conscience, and the ability to seek their Creator.

These things did not design themselves.

“For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and divine nature, so that they are without excuse.”
—Romans 1:20

We cannot see Yahweh with our physical eyes, but we can recognize His power, wisdom, and care through what He has made.

Creation is not Elohim—it is the work of Elohim.

2. Something Cannot Come From Nothing

Everything that begins to exist must have a cause. The universe had a beginning; therefore, it must have had a cause beyond itself.

That first cause could not have been part of the physical universe, because it brought the physical universe into existence. The Creator must therefore exist beyond matter, space, and time.

Scripture reveals Him:

“Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are Elohim.”
—Psalm 90:2

Yahweh did not begin to exist. He is eternal. Everything else exists because He gave it existence.

“I am Yahweh, who makes all things, who stretches out the heavens all alone, who spreads abroad the earth by Myself.”
—Isaiah 44:24

3. The Order of Creation Reveals Intelligence

The universe is not a meaningless confusion. It contains dependable laws, mathematical order, repeating patterns, and systems that work together.

The human body is an extraordinary example:

• The heart circulates blood.
• The lungs supply oxygen.
• The eyes receive light and create recognizable images.
• The ears distinguish sounds and voices.
• The brain processes thought, memory, movement, and emotion.
• DNA contains biological instructions needed for life.

Instructions require intelligence. Information points to a mind. Design points to a designer.

“He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see?”
—Psalm 94:9

Yahweh gave us eyes because He sees. He gave us ears because He hears. He gave us minds because He possesses perfect intelligence.

“O Yahweh, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all.”
—Psalm 104:24

4. Life Comes From Life

Human beings can rearrange existing materials, but we cannot create life from nothing. Life comes from previously existing life.

The ultimate source of all life is Yahweh.

“For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.”
—Psalm 36:9

“The Spirit of Elohim has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.”
—Job 33:4

Our lives are not accidents. Yahweh deliberately made humanity for a purpose.

“Know that Yahweh, He is Elohim; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves.”
—Psalm 100:3

5. The Human Conscience Points to a Moral Lawgiver

People throughout the world recognize that certain things are right and others are wrong. We know that love is better than hatred, truth is better than lying, and justice is better than oppression.

Although the conscience can be weakened, corrupted, or ignored, its existence points to a moral law higher than human opinion.

“Who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness.”
—Romans 2:15

If there were no Creator, morality would ultimately be nothing more than personal preference. But deep within us, we recognize that certain actions are truly right or wrong.

A real moral law points to a moral Lawgiver.

6. Only a Fool Says There Is No Elohim

“The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no Elohim.’ They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none who does good.”
—Psalm 14:1

In Scripture, a fool is not necessarily someone who lacks education or intelligence. Biblical foolishness is the deliberate rejection of Yahweh’s authority and wisdom.

Notice that the fool says “in his heart.” The problem is not merely a lack of information. It is often an unwillingness to acknowledge the Creator because acknowledging Him means accepting that we are accountable to Him.

“The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
—Proverbs 1:7

A sincere person who is searching, questioning, and asking for understanding should not be ridiculed. Yahweh invites honest seekers to examine the evidence and seek Him.

“You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”
—Jeremiah 29:13

7. Creation Shows That Elohim Exists—Scripture Tells Us Who He Is

Creation reveals Yahweh’s power and intelligence, but Scripture reveals His name, character, purpose, and plan.

“I am Yahweh, that is My name; and My glory I will not give to another.”
—Isaiah 42:8

His name is Yahweh. The Hebrew title Elohim identifies Him as the mighty Creator and supreme Ruler.

Yahweh revealed Himself to Moses:

“Yahweh, Yahweh Elohim, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth.”
—Exodus 34:6

Yahweh is:

• Merciful and compassionate
• Patient and longsuffering
• Righteous and just
• Faithful and truthful
• Loving and forgiving
• Holy and unchanging

“For I am Yahweh, I do not change.”
—Malachi 3:6

We recognize the true Elohim not merely by displays of power, but by His holy and righteous character.

8. Yahweh Revealed Himself Through Yeshua

Yeshua did not come to replace Yahweh or direct worship away from Him. He came to reveal the Father and bring people back to Him.

“He who has seen Me has seen the Father.”
—John 14:9

Yeshua reflected Yahweh’s character perfectly. His compassion, mercy, righteousness, truthfulness, obedience, and love showed us what the Father is like.

“The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do.”
—John 5:19

“I can of Myself do nothing… I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.”
—John 5:30

Yeshua taught His followers to worship the Father:

“The true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth.”
—John 4:23

He also taught us to pray:

“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
—Matthew 6:9–10

To know Yeshua properly is to be led through Him to Yahweh.

“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true Elohim, and Yeshua Messiah whom You have sent.”
—John 17:3

9. How Can We Recognize the True Elohim?

Many religions claim to represent the Creator. Scripture gives us ways to distinguish truth from deception.

He agrees with His written Word

Yahweh will never contradict His own righteous commandments.

“To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”
—Isaiah 8:20

He does not change

“Elohim is not a man, that He should lie.”
—Numbers 23:19

Human traditions change. Popular opinions change. Yahweh’s righteous character and truth remain the same.

He calls people to repentance and obedience

“Repent, and turn from all your transgressions.”
—Ezekiel 18:30

The true Elohim does not encourage lawlessness. He forgives repentant sinners and teaches them to walk in righteousness.

His commandments express His character

“Therefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good.”
—Romans 7:12

Yahweh’s commandments teach us how to love Him and how to love one another.

“For this is the love of Elohim, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.”
—1 John 5:3

His Spirit produces righteous fruit

“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.”
—Galatians 5:22–23

Hatred, cruelty, deception, pride, greed, and lawlessness do not represent Yahweh’s character.

10. We Know Yahweh Through Obedience

Knowing facts about Yahweh is not the same as knowing Him personally.

“Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”
—1 John 2:3–4

We come to know Yahweh as we:

• Believe His Word
• Repent of sin
• Obey His commandments
• Pray to Him
• Trust His promises
• Observe His Sabbath and appointed times
• Show mercy and love to others
• Endure trials faithfully
• Follow the example of Yeshua

Obedience does not purchase Yahweh’s love or mercy. It is our faithful response to His love.

11. We Can Speak Directly to Our Creator

Yahweh is not a distant force. He hears those who sincerely call upon Him.

“Yahweh is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.”
—Psalm 145:18

“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”
—Jeremiah 33:3

Prayer does not require elaborate language. We can speak honestly to Yahweh about our sins, fears, needs, grief, gratitude, and hopes.

He already knows our needs, but prayer builds our relationship with Him and teaches us to depend upon Him.

12. Yahweh Reveals Himself to the Humble

Pride causes people to trust their own understanding and reject correction. Humility allows us to recognize our dependence upon the Creator.

“Elohim resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
—James 4:6

“Draw near to Elohim and He will draw near to you.”
—James 4:8

We do not discover Yahweh by demanding that He submit to our conditions. We begin to know Him when we humbly submit ourselves to His truth.

“Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
—Proverbs 3:5–6

13. Yahweh Is Working Out a Purpose for Humanity

Yahweh did not create human beings merely to live briefly, suffer, and disappear. He is developing a family of righteous children who will bear His character.

“Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness.”
—Genesis 1:26

Being made in His image involves more than our physical form. Yahweh is teaching us to think, love, judge, forgive, and live according to His righteous character.

“As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of Elohim.”
—John 1:12

“We know that all things work together for good to those who love Elohim, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
—Romans 8:28

Even our trials can be used to teach patience, faith, compassion, humility, and endurance.

14. A Personal Challenge

Look at the heavens. Examine the complexity of life. Consider your conscience, your ability to love, and your desire for meaning. Read Scripture with an honest heart. Study the life and teaching of Yeshua. Begin obeying what Yahweh reveals.

Then speak to your Creator:

“Yahweh, I believe You are my Creator. Help me know You as You truly are. Remove every false belief from my mind. Forgive my sins, teach me Your ways, and give me understanding. Help me recognize Your voice through Your written Word. Lead me by Your Spirit and teach me to walk faithfully before You. In Yeshua’s name, amen.”

Conclusion

Creation proves that there is a Creator. Its order reveals His wisdom. Life reveals His power. Conscience points to His moral authority. Scripture reveals His name and character. Yeshua shows us what the Father is like. Obedience allows us to walk in a genuine relationship with Him.

The evidence surrounds us, but we must be willing to see it.

“The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no Elohim.’”
—Psalm 14:1

But the wise person looks at creation, listens to Yahweh’s Word, humbles himself, and declares:

“Yahweh, He is Elohim! Yahweh, He is Elohim!”
—1 Kings 18:39

Our Creator is real. His name is Yahweh. He invites us not only to believe that He exists, but to seek Him, obey Him, trust Him, and truly know Him.
