My greatest hope is that my children will one day reach out to me again.
If my son Nathan Moffett in Edmond, Oklahoma, and my daughter Elise Moffett Salinas in San Antonio, Texas were not involved with the Philadelphia Church of God (PCG), I would likely never speak publicly about this group. I would still pray for those who have been hurt, but my focus would remain private.
What compels me to speak is not anger — it is love for my children and concern for families who have experienced similar separation. Policies that discourage or prevent normal family contact have caused deep pain, not only to me, but to many others. I believe families should not be divided, and that love, communication, and reconciliation should always be encouraged.
Because of this, I plan to continue raising awareness about the impact these practices have on families. My goal is not to attack individuals, but to bring attention to the human cost of separation and to encourage open discussion. I hope that by sharing my experience, others may better understand how deeply these situations affect parents, children, and loved ones.

Churches of God: Men Claiming to Be Prophets
A number of leaders within the splinter groups of the Worldwide Church of God (WCG) have taken on prophetic titles or claimed to fulfill end-time roles. The following list highlights the most well-known individuals who have made such claims, along with their respective organizations and prophetic assertions.
Each one of these men believe that are the successor of Herbert W. Armstrong. Interestingly Armstrong himself declared there are no prophets in the church today.
Herbert W. Armstrong stating that “there are no prophets in the church today”:
“We find prophets mentioned in the historic portions of the New Testament, but they… carried no authority. … We find no prophets in the church today. The written Scriptures are now complete. There seems no need for prophets today. Furthermore, it is God who sets them in His Church, and if there are none, it is because God has not seen fit to set them in His Church. In addition, Armstrong wrote explicitly about his own calling and emphasized that he had “definitely NOT been called to be a PROPHET”:

These statements clearly reflect his position that the prophetic office—as understood in biblical terms—is not active in the modern church, and that he personally did not claim that role
