We are living at the end of this age. We don't know how much longer till the return of Yeshua. Scripture shows how those of us living at this time can and should draw closer to Yahweh.
Scripture shows that as this age grows darker, Yahweh calls His people to come closer to Him — not farther away. The end times are not only about judgment and prophecy. They are also about purification, obedience, faithfulness, and preparing a people for the return of Yeshua.
1. Yahweh Calls His People to Seek Him NOW
“Seek Yahweh while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.”
— Isaiah 55:6
At the end of the age, distractions, deception, fear, and lawlessness increase. Yet Yahweh’s call remains the same:
- Seek Him
- Repent
- Return to His ways
- Walk in obedience
- Endure faithfully
Yahweh does not want distant followers.
He wants a people who walk with Him.
2. The World Grows Darker — But the Faithful Grow Closer
Yeshua warned:
“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.”
— Matthew 24:12
The closer this age comes to its end:
- truth becomes unpopular
- obedience is mocked
- evil is called good
- many fall away
- deception increases
But Scripture shows the faithful respond differently:
“They that know their Elohim shall be strong, and do exploits.”
— Daniel 11:32
The end times should not drive us into fear.
They should drive us into deeper faithfulness.
3. Draw Near Through Prayer
“Draw near to Elohim and He will draw near to you.”
— James 4:8
Prayer is not ritual alone.
It is relationship.
The closer we come to the return of Yeshua, the more important it becomes to:
- pray daily
- seek wisdom
- confess sin
- ask for strength
- stay spiritually awake
Yeshua said:
“Watch therefore, and pray always.”
— Luke 21:36
4. Draw Closer Through Obedience
Yeshua connected love with obedience:
“If you love Me, keep My commandments.”
— John 14:15
Many claim belief while rejecting Yahweh’s instructions.
But Scripture teaches that obedience matters deeply.
At the end of the age, Revelation describes Yahweh’s people this way:
“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of Yahweh and the faith of Yeshua.”
— Revelation 14:12
Drawing closer means:
- turning away from sin
- keeping Yahweh’s commandments
- walking in truth
- living differently from the world
5. Draw Closer Through His Word
“Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
— Psalm 119:105
The Scriptures steady us in confusing times.
The more deception increases, the more important it becomes to:
- study Scripture carefully
- test teachings
- compare everything to Yahweh’s Word
- follow truth rather than tradition
The Bereans were praised because:
“They searched the scriptures daily.”
— Acts 17:11
6. Draw Closer Through Repentance and Humility
“If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven.”
— 2 Chronicles 7:14
The end of the age is not a time for pride or spiritual complacency.
It is a time to:
- repent sincerely
- remove idols from our lives
- forgive others
- humble ourselves before Yahweh
7. Draw Closer by Enduring Faithfully
Yeshua said:
“He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”
— Matthew 24:13
Endurance means remaining faithful even when:
- others fall away
- truth is unpopular
- obedience costs something
- trials increase
Yahweh is preparing a faithful people who will stand firm until the return of Yeshua.
8. The Goal: Be Ready for the Return of Yeshua
Scripture repeatedly tells believers to stay spiritually awake.
“Blessed are those servants, whom the master when he comes shall find watching.”
— Luke 12:37
Drawing closer to Yahweh now prepares us for:
- the coming Kingdom
- the resurrection
- eternal life
- ruling with Yeshua
Final Encouragement
This world is temporary.
Its suffering, confusion, and evil will not last forever.
Yahweh is calling people right now to:
- wake up spiritually
- come out of deception
- walk in truth
- draw near to Him
And He promises:
“You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”
— Jeremiah 29:13
Those who draw close to Yahweh now will not regret it when Yeshua returns.
