Scripture shows that Yahweh loves us, He cares for us, He is always close to us. Everything works for our good whether we know it or not.
The message of Scripture from beginning to end is that Yahweh is not distant or indifferent. He loves His people, is near to them, works in their lives even when they cannot see it, and is faithful to fulfill His purpose. While believers still experience suffering, loss, and trials, Scripture repeatedly teaches that Yahweh uses those circumstances for His good purposes.
1. Yahweh Loves Us
Jeremiah 31:3
"Yahweh has appeared of old to me, saying: 'Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.'" (NKJV)
His love is everlasting—not temporary or dependent on our circumstances.
Deuteronomy 7:7–9
Yahweh tells Israel He did not choose them because they were numerous or powerful, but because He loved them and keeps His covenant.
John 3:16
"For Yahweh so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son..."
This demonstrates the depth of the Father's love through the sending of Yeshua.
Romans 5:8
"But Yahweh demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
2. Yahweh Cares for Us
1 Peter 5:6–7
"...casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you."
We are invited to bring every burden to Him because He genuinely cares.
Matthew 6:25–34
Yeshua points to the birds and the flowers:
"Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things."
If Yahweh faithfully provides for His creation, how much more does He care for His children?
Psalm 103:13–14
"As a father pities his children, so Yahweh pities those who fear Him."
3. Yahweh Is Always Near
Deuteronomy 31:6
"He will never leave you nor forsake you."
Joshua 1:9
"...for Yahweh your Yahweh is with you wherever you go."
Psalm 34:18
"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit."
Often we feel most alone during suffering, yet Scripture says Yahweh is especially near to the brokenhearted.
Psalm 145:18
"Yahweh is near to all who call upon Him..."
Hebrews 13:5
"I will never leave you nor forsake you."
4. Yahweh Hears Our Prayers
Psalm 34:15
"The eyes of Yahweh are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry."
Jeremiah 33:3
"Call to Me, and I will answer you..."
1 John 5:14–15
If we ask according to His will, He hears us.
5. Everything Works for Our Good
This does not mean everything that happens is good. Scripture acknowledges evil, suffering, persecution, and death. But Yahweh is able to use even painful events to accomplish His purpose.
Romans 8:28
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love Yahweh, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
Even when we cannot understand today, Yahweh sees the end from the beginning.
Genesis 50:20
After being sold into slavery by his brothers, Joseph said:
"You meant evil against me; but Yahweh meant it for good..."
What looked like tragedy became salvation for many people.
James 1:2–4
Trials produce patience, endurance, and spiritual maturity.
2 Corinthians 4:17–18
"For our light affliction... is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory."
6. Yahweh Is Working Even When We Cannot See It
Isaiah 55:8–9
"For My thoughts are not your thoughts..."
His wisdom is far above ours.
Ecclesiastes 3:11
"He has made everything beautiful in its time."
Not necessarily in our time—but in His.
Psalm 37:23–24
"The steps of a good man are ordered by Yahweh... Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down."
7. Nothing Can Separate Us From His Love
Romans 8:35–39
Paul lists tribulation, persecution, famine, danger, and death, then concludes:
"...nothing shall be able to separate us from the love of Yahweh which is in Yeshua our Lord."
Circumstances may change; Yahweh's love does not.
8. Yahweh Gives Peace in the Midst of Trouble
Isaiah 41:10
"Fear not, for I am with you... I will strengthen you..."
John 14:27
Yeshua said:
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you..."
Philippians 4:6–7
When we bring our concerns to Yahweh with thanksgiving, His peace guards our hearts and minds.
The Overall Message of Scripture
Yahweh says:
- I have loved you with an everlasting love. (Jeremiah 31:3)
- I care for you. (1 Peter 5:7)
- I will never leave you. (Hebrews 13:5)
- I am near to the brokenhearted. (Psalm 34:18)
- I hear your prayers. (Psalm 34:15)
- I am working all things together for your good. (Romans 8:28)
- Nothing can separate you from My love. (Romans 8:38–39)
Even when we cannot understand why something happens, Scripture calls us to trust Yahweh's character. He sees what we cannot see, knows what we do not know, and is faithfully working toward His ultimate purpose—to conform His people to the image of His Son and bring them into His coming Kingdom (Romans 8:29–30). For those who belong to Him, no trial is wasted, no prayer is unheard, and no act of faithfulness is forgotten.
