DO NOT FOLLOW BLIND LEADERS

Obey God Rather Than Men

Obey God Rather Than Men

If your "church" or your "minister" says it is alright to eat out or cook food on the 7th day Sabbath they are encouraging you to BREAK the Sabbath. Or if they tell you the Sabbath has been changed to Sunday. Or if they tell you “Jesus kept it for you”, or “Jesus did away with it” THEY ARE WRONG and causing you to break a commandment of Yahweh

You should not be in a "church" or have a "minister" anyway.

There should be Sabbath Home Gatherings. NOT churches and ministers.

Here is a clear, Scripture-based case you can study and weigh prayerfully. I will present the verses first, then the biblical conclusion.
At the end there is a printable Sabbath Study Sheet.

📖 1. Cooking and Food Preparation on the Sabbath

🔹 Direct command about food preparation

Exodus 16:23

“Tomorrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto Yahweh: bake that which ye will bake today, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you…”

What this shows:

  • Cooking was to be done before the Sabbath
  • Food preparation was not intended for Sabbath day
  • Israel was instructed to prepare ahead

👉 If cooking were acceptable on the Sabbath, this command would make no sense.

🔹 No work command

Exodus 20:10

“But the seventh day is the sabbath of Yahweh thy Elohim: in it thou shalt not do any work…”

Cooking is repeatedly classified as labor in Scripture (compare Exodus 16 context).

🔹 Gathering and commerce forbidden

Nehemiah 10:31

“If the people of the land bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it of them on the sabbath…”

Key point:

  • Buying food on Sabbath = violation
  • Therefore eating out (modern equivalent) violates the principle

Nehemiah 13:15–17

Nehemiah rebuked Judah for:

  • buying food
  • selling food
  • doing business on Sabbath

And he said:

“What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day?”

👉 Scripture plainly connects food commerce on Sabbath = profaning the Sabbath

📖 2. Causing Others to Break the Sabbath

🔹 Leaders held to stricter judgment

James 3:1

“Be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.”

A "minister" who teaches against the command bears serious responsibility.

Does your "minister" say it's alright to eat out on Sabbath? Alright to cook meals on Sabbath".

Repent now or face the same consequences as them.

🔹 Warning against teaching disobedience

Matthew 5:19

(Yahshua speaking)

“Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven…”

Important principle:

  • Breaking commands = serious
  • Teaching others to break them = even worse

👉 If a minister says Sabbath cooking or buying food is fine, this fits Yahshua’s warning.

📖 3. Are We Supposed to Follow Ministers Who Teach Against Commandments?

🔹 Test teachers by Scripture

Isaiah 8:20

“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”

Biblical rule:

  • The Word is the standard
  • Not the minister
  • Not the church tradition

🔹 Do not follow blind leaders

Matthew 15:14

“If the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.”

🔹 Obey God rather than men

Acts 5:29

“We ought to obey God rather than men.”

📖 4. Do Believers Need a Church System or Clergy?

Scripture shows something very different from modern church structures.

🔹 Early believers met simply

Romans 16:5

“Likewise greet the church that is in their house…”

1 Corinthians 16:19

“The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.”

👉 The biblical model was home gatherings, not institutional systems.

🔹 Warning about religious systems

Mark 7:7–9

Yahshua said:

“In vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men…
Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.”

🔹 One true Teacher

Matthew 23:8–10

Yahshua said:

“Be not ye called Rabbi…
neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.”

This warns against elevating human religious authority over obedience.

  • Am I avoiding buying and selling?
  • Am I resting and honoring Yahweh’s holy day?
  • Am I testing what I am taught by Scripture?

✨ Sabbath Prayer

“Father Yahweh, help me to honor Your holy Sabbath with a willing heart. Teach me Your ways and give me joy in Your rest. Through Your Son, amen.”

THE FOOLISHNESS OF MANKIND

IT WON'T BE LONG NOW

Almost every day I think of something I want to tell my son Sterling or talk to him about.
He has been dead for over a year now. It happened again today. Then l realized it is all foolishness. When I see him again none of what’s going on in this world will matter. He is safely asleep in the grave awaiting the resurrection. When we meet again we will have real happy, peaceful, eternal things to talk about.

The wisdom of man is foolishness to Yahweh

Here is a scripture-based teaching you can use, that showing clearly:

  • Man’s wisdom is foolishness to Yahweh
  • The thoughts of man are continually evil
  • This present world will soon end
  • Yahweh’s Kingdom will bring true peace and happiness

I have a  Comfort Meditation: “Soon the Kingdom Comes” at the end of the study

📖 The Wisdom of Man vs. the Wisdom of Yahweh

🔹 Man’s Wisdom Is Foolishness to Yahweh

1 Corinthians 3:19 (KJV)

“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with Yahweh. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.”

1 Corinthians 1:25

“Because the foolishness of Yahweh is wiser than men; and the weakness of Yahweh is stronger than men.”

Isaiah 55:8–9

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

✅ Conclusion: Human reasoning, systems, and philosophies cannot fix the world.

🔹 The Natural Heart of Man Is Corrupt

Scripture speaks very plainly about human nature.

Genesis 6:5

“Yahweh saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”

Jeremiah 17:9

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”

Romans 3:10–12

“There is none righteous, no, not one…
There is none that seeketh after Yahweh.”

✅ Conclusion: Left to himself, mankind does not produce lasting righteousness or peace.

🔹 This Present World System Will Not Continue

The Bible teaches that man’s rule is temporary.

1 John 2:17

“And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of Yahweh abideth for ever.”

Daniel 2:44

“And in the days of these kings shall the Yahweh of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed… it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.”

2 Peter 3:10–13

“The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night…
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”

✅ Conclusion: Human governments will give way to Yahweh’s Kingdom.

🔹 Yahweh’s Kingdom Will Bring Real Peace

This is the beautiful hope ahead.

Isaiah 9:6–7

“…The government shall be upon his shoulder…
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end…”

Isaiah 11:6–9

“The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb…
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD.”

Psalm 37:10–11

“For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be…
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.”

Revelation 21:4

“And Yahweh shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying…”

✅ Conclusion: Yahweh’s Kingdom will finally bring the peace mankind has never achieved.

🌅 Simple Teaching Summary

Man’s wisdom:

  • Proud
  • Short-sighted
  • Unable to produce peace

Man’s heart:

  • Deceitful
  • Bent toward evil
  • Unable to save itself

Yahweh’s plan:

  • This world passes away
  • Yahweh’s Kingdom replaces it
  • Peace and joy fill the earth

❤️ Encouragement

The world may look unstable — and Scripture said it would.
But the same Bible that diagnoses mankind’s failure also promises:

“The meek shall inherit the earth.” — Psalm 37:11

✨ ONE-LINE CONTRAST

Man’s world: confusion → suffering → death
Yahweh’s Kingdom: truth → peace → life

🌙 Comfort Meditation: “Soon the Kingdom Comes”

You can read this slowly before sleep.

Take a slow breath…
and let your shoulders soften.

The world around us feels heavy sometimes.
Scripture said it would.

“The world passeth away…” — 1 John 2:17

But you are not without hope.

From the beginning, Yahweh planned a Kingdom
that no human failure could stop.

Picture it now…

The noise of this world grows quiet…
The striving of men comes to an end…
The kingdoms of this world fade like evening shadows…

And then—

The righteous King stands to rule.

Not with corruption…
Not with empty promises…
But with perfect justice and mercy.

“Of the increase of his government and peace
there shall be no end.” — Isaiah 9:7

Imagine the earth breathing again.

  • No more war reports
  • No more hospital goodbyes
  • No more lonely graves

Only peace…
steady… gentle… everlasting.

If your heart aches tonight —
Yahweh sees.

If you are tired of this world —
Yahweh knows.

If you are longing for reunion and restoration —
the Kingdom is exactly for that.

“The meek shall inherit the earth
and delight themselves in the abundance of peace.” — Psalm 37:11

So rest tonight in this truth:

This world is not the end of the story.
Darkness does not win.
Human failure does not have the final word.

The Kingdom is coming.

And when it does…

Every tear will finally make sense.
