The Bible shows that the end will come SUDDENLY. That we are are at the end of the age.
Scripture repeatedly warns that the close of this age will come suddenly, unexpectedly, and with worldwide destruction upon a rebellious world. The message is not merely about fear — it is a warning to wake up, repent, and draw close to Yahweh before judgment arrives.
The End Comes Suddenly
Yeshua warned that most people would be living normally, unaware of how close destruction truly is:
“For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage… and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
— Matthew 24:38–39
Paul gave a similar warning:
“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them… and they shall not escape.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:3
The prophets described a world spiritually asleep right before judgment falls:
“The great day of Yahweh is near… it is near, and hasteth greatly.”
— Zephaniah 1:14
The World Will Be Shaken
The Bible describes unprecedented global trouble at the end of the age:
- Wars and rumors of wars — Matthew 24:6
- Famine and pestilence — Luke 21:11
- Moral collapse — 2 Timothy 3:1–5
- Deception spreading everywhere — Matthew 24:24
- Fear covering the earth — Luke 21:25–26
Yeshua said:
“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world…”
— Matthew 24:21
And unless Yahweh intervened:
“Except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved.”
— Matthew 24:22
This points to a time when mankind’s violence and rebellion would threaten life on earth itself.
Yet Yahweh Warns Before Judgment
Yahweh does not desire destruction without warning. He calls people to repent and seek Him now:
“Surely the Lord Yahweh will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”
— Amos 3:7
“Seek ye Yahweh, all ye meek of the earth… it may be ye shall be hid in the day of Yahweh’s anger.”
— Zephaniah 2:3
Yeshua instructed His followers:
“Watch therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things…”
— Luke 21:36
Hope Beyond the Destruction
Though the end of this age brings judgment, scripture also points to hope beyond it:
- The return of Yeshua
- The overthrow of evil
- The resurrection of the dead
- Yahweh’s Kingdom established on earth
- Peace replacing violence
“And the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Messiah.”
— Revelation 11:15
The Bible’s warning is urgent: the end comes suddenly. But the purpose of the warning is so people still have time to repent, seek Yahweh, and prepare spiritually before that day arrives.
