Blessed Because of Abraham (song)

Blessed Because of Abraham

BLESSED BECAUSE OF ABRAHAM (song)

An Epic Biblical Ballad of Promise, Blessing, and Warning

[Intro ]
Before there were nations…
Before empires rose…
There was one man who believed the promise.
And Yahweh spoke to Abraham.

[Verse 1]
One man stood beneath the heavens,
With a promise in his hand,
Yahweh said, “I will make you mighty,
I will multiply your land.
Through your seed shall nations prosper,
Through your house the world be blessed,
And the promise I have spoken
Will outlive your final breath.”

[Pre-Chorus]
From Abraham to Isaac,
From Isaac unto Jacob,
The covenant continued on,
The promises were faithful!

[Chorus ]
Blessed because of Abraham,
By the promise Yahweh made,
Raised to power, blessed with plenty,
Underneath His mighty hand.
But the blessings bring a warning,
And the Scriptures make it plain:
If we turn away from Yahweh,
We may reap the seeds we've sown in vain.

[Verse 2]
Fields of grain and mighty rivers,
Cities reaching toward the sky,
Ships that crossed the distant oceans,
Nations lifted, powers high.
America and Britain prospered,
With abundance, strength, and fame,
But we must remember always
Who first gave us what we claim.

[Verse 3]
Yahweh warned us through the ages,
“Do not say your strength has won.
Do not boast in your own power,
Or forget what I have done.”
When the heart grows proud with plenty,
When we cast His ways aside,
We may find the walls of safety
Cannot shield us from our pride.

[Chorus]
Blessed because of Abraham,
By the promise Yahweh made,
Raised to power, blessed with plenty,
Underneath His mighty hand.
But the blessings bring a warning,
And the Scriptures make it plain:
If we turn away from Yahweh,
We may reap the seeds we've sown in vain.

[Verse 4]
When the poor are left forgotten,
When the helpless have no voice,
When we call the wrong thing righteous,
And reject the righteous choice,
When our lips proclaim devotion,
But our hearts have wandered far,
We must face the words of Scripture
And examine who we are.

[Bridge]
Deuteronomy twenty-eight,
The blessings and the curses stand.
Pride and sin bring devastation
When we will not heed command.
But Yahweh calls us to repentance,
There is mercy when we turn.
Let the people seek His presence,
Let our hearts for righteousness burn!

[Verse 5]
Return to Yahweh with humility,
Walk in mercy, walk in truth.
Remember Him in days of plenty,
Seek His wisdom in your youth.
Do justly, love compassion,
Let the fatherless be heard.
Let our actions show our reverence,
Not just promises and words.

[Final Chorus]
Blessed because of Abraham,
Hear the promise once again!
Yahweh's word endures forever,
Though the kingdoms rise and end.
Let the nations turn in humility,
Let the proud heart bow its knee.
For the blessings were a calling,
Not a crown of certainty!

[Outro]
The promise began with Abraham…
The covenant passed through Isaac and Jacob…
And through Abraham's promised Seed,
All nations may be blessed.

Remember the One who blessed you.
Do not forget Yahweh.

[Spoken Scripture – Genesis 22:18]
“And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed.”

[End]
Remember Yahweh…
Remember His promise…
And return to Him.
