BEFORE ALL FLESH IS GONE (song)

[Verse 1]
We built our towers reaching high,
Raised our banners to the sky.
Promised peace with every reign,
Yet filled the earth with tears again.
We thought our wisdom knew the way,
But watched our promises decay.
Yahweh, we need Your guiding hand;
Without Your truth, we cannot stand.
[Pre-Chorus]
It is not in man to guide his feet,
Or make a lasting peace complete.
The road we chose, so wide and strong,
Has led us where we don’t belong.
[Chorus]
Before all flesh is gone,
Yahweh, You will bring the dawn.
You will shorten those dark days;
You will turn the world toward Your ways.
When human strength can do no more,
Yeshua comes to end the war.
Through the darkest night, our hope lives on—
You will intervene before all flesh is gone.
[Verse 2]
The pride of kings, the greed of men,
The same old wounds laid bare again.
We change the names upon the throne,
But hearts stay hard as hearts of stone.
You call us still to turn and live;
Your patient mercy longs to give.
Oh, teach us now to hear Your voice,
To leave our sin and make that choice.
[Pre-Chorus]
No earthly ruler holds the key
To heal the heart or set us free.
Our hope is in Your righteous reign;
Your Kingdom breaks this world of pain.
[Chorus]
Before all flesh is gone,
Yahweh, You will bring the dawn.
You will shorten those dark days;
You will turn the world toward Your ways.
When human strength can do no more,
Yeshua comes to end the war.
Through the darkest night, our hope lives on—
You will intervene before all flesh is gone.
[Bridge ]
Seek Yahweh while He may be found;
Lay every proud ambition down.
Write Your commandments on our hearts;
Let our returning to You start.
We do not know the day or hour,
But trust Your promise and Your power.
We lift our heads above our fears—
Our promised redemption draws near!
[Verse 3]
From Zion shall Your teaching flow;
The nations come, Your ways to know.
Their swords become the tools of grain;
They shall not learn to war again.
No child will tremble at the door,
No mother fear the march of war.
Beneath Yeshua’s righteous reign,
The earth will breathe in peace again.
[Final Chorus]
Before all flesh is gone,
Yahweh, You will bring the dawn.
You will shorten those dark days;
You will teach the nations all Your ways.
When human strength can do no more,
Yeshua comes to end the war.
Let every weary heart hold on—
Your Kingdom comes, and mercy brings the dawn!
[Outro]
Mankind cannot rule alone;
Yahweh, make Your ways our own.
Yeshua, reign forevermore—
And teach this world to war no more.
