THE TRUTH ABOUT HELL - The Fate of the Wicked

 Here is a clear, Bible-based case—using plain scripture—that the wicked are ultimately destroyed, not kept alive forever in an ever-burning hell. Death is sleep and final destruction, not eternal conscious torment.

1. The Wicked Are Destroyed, Not Preserved Forever

🔹 Matthew 10:28

“Fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

• Yeshuua did not say “torment forever”
• Destroy (Greek: apollymi) means to kill, ruin, perish

If the soul can be destroyed, it cannot be immortal by nature.

“The day comes that shall burn them up… that it shall leave them neither root nor branch… they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet.”

🔹 Malachi 4:1–3

• “Burned up” = consumed
• “Neither root nor branch” = nothing left
• Ashes are not alive

This is annihilation, not eternal torment.

2. The Wicked Perish — They Do Not Live Forever

“That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Only believers receive everlasting life.

1. The Soul Is the Person, Not an Immortal Entity Inside Us

The Bible’s Hebrew word for “soul” is נֶפֶשׁ (nephesh) and in Greek ψυχή (psuchē).
It simply means a living being, life, or person — not an indestructible spirit-part.

• Genesis 2:7 – “And the LORD Yahweh formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul (nephesh).”
  Notice: Man became a soul — he doesn’t have a soul that is separate from his body.
  
• Ezekiel 18:4 – “Behold, all souls are mine… the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”

He is a beautiful little boy, and seeing his picture meant more to me than I can express. She also shared that she was expecting a baby girl. I think about them often and keep them in my prayers.

Gerald Flurry and the Death of My Son:

My youngest son killed himself January 2025.

One of the reasons is because he never got over losing his older brother and sister to the PCG’s “no contact rule.” They abandoned him, me and my daughter who left the PCG.

He lost his mother when he was 12. Something he took very hard.

Then when I was put out of the PCG, he lost his brother and sister who remained in the “church” and quit contact with me and him. Toward the end he talked about them a lot. He could not understand why they would not contact me, my other daughter that is out of the PCG, or him. He wanted to go visit them but thought they would not welcome him unless he was in “the church.” But, he wanted nothing to do with that “church.”

Even though my daughter Elise is in the PCG and under the “no contact rule.” Under penalty of being cast into the lake of fire by Gerald Flurry, she did text me, call me and sent me a picture of her son, my little grandson, who it turns out she had named after her brother, my son Sterling, that had just killed himself. And she told me she was going to have another baby, a girl.

So not only did I lose my youngest son, I lost my other son, my daughter, a grandson and a granddaughter.

How much longer will God allow this evil group to continue? How many families have been destroyed and lives lost?

You may sometimes be asked why I am no longer part of the church you attend. I know there are different perspectives about what happened. I want you to know that my love for you has never changed, and my desire is not to argue, but to be honest and at peace.

I believe serious prejudice and outright lies led to my separation. I was never given a chance. I know you were given false explanations that shaped how you see things. My hope is that, in time, you will be willing to hear my side as well, so that truth can be understood more fully and not only from one direction.

Throughout Scripture, we are encouraged to seek truth carefully, to test what we are taught, and to make sure our faith rests on what is right and good. That process should never separate families or close the door on love and communication.

My purpose in speaking publicly is not to attack you, but to be honest about my experience and to express my continued love for you. Even when we disagree, we are still family. Nothing can change that.
