IF YOU CHANGE THE DAY... YOU ERASE THE PICTURE

 

We keep the 7th day Sabbath Because it pictures Yah’s seventh day rest. It pictures Yah’s plan of salvation. 6000 years of human labor, of human toil Then the 7th day of rest. The Sabbatical reign of Yeshua. 

If we change it to any other day. We make that impossible.

WE KEEP THE 7TH DAY SABBATH — WHY?

1. It Was Established At Creation

• Genesis 2:2–3 — Yahweh rested the seventh day and sanctified it
• This was before Israel… before Sinai… before any nation

👉 The Sabbath is not man-made — it is creation-made

2. It Is the Commanded Day — Not a Suggested One

• Exodus 20:8–11 — “Remember the Sabbath day… the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yahweh”

👉 Not one verse ever changes the day
👉 The command is specific — the seventh day

3. It Pictures Yah’s Plan of Salvation

• 2 Peter 3:8 — “One day is with Yahweh as a thousand years”

Pattern:

• 6 days (6000 years) → Man ruling, labor, suffering
• 7th day (1000 years) → Rest, peace, Messiah’s reign

👉 The Sabbath is a weekly prophecy

4. It Points to the Reign of Yeshua

• Revelation 20:4–6 — Messiah reigns 1000 years
• Hebrews 4:9 — “There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of Elohim”

👉 The Sabbath foreshadows:

• The Kingdom
• The rest under Yeshua
• The end of human rule

5. Yeshua Kept It — And Never Changed It

• Luke 4:16 — “As His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath”
• Matthew 5:17 — He did not come to destroy the law

👉 If the Messiah kept it…
👉 Why would His followers abandon it?

6. The Apostles Continued In It

• Acts 17:2 — Paul reasoned in the synagogue on the Sabbath
• Acts 13:42–44 — Gentiles gathered on the Sabbath

👉 The early believers did NOT switch days

THE PROBLEM WITH CHANGING THE DAY

If you change the Sabbath:

• ❌ You break the creation pattern
• ❌ You destroy the 6000 + 1000 year prophecy
• ❌ You remove the picture of the coming Kingdom
• ❌ You replace Yah’s appointed time with man’s tradition

👉 It becomes impossible to picture Yah’s plan correctly
