HOW THOSE WHO OBEY YAHWEH ESCAPE DECEPTION

HOW THOSE WHO OBEY YAHWEH ESCAPE DECEPTION

With so much lying and propaganda coming at us in all areas of life,

from health to government, to religion.

Scripture shows how those who follow and obey Yahweh will not be deceived.

We live in a time when propaganda, carefully edited information, emotional manipulation, and outright lies can come from institutions that people once trusted. Scripture warns that deception will become especially powerful near the end of this age.

Yet Yahweh has not left His people defenseless. Those who sincerely love the truth, obey His commandments, remain close to Him, and test what they hear by Scripture can recognize deception and refuse to follow it.

1. Yeshua warned that widespread deception would come

When Yeshua was asked about the end of the age, His first warning was:

“Take heed that no man deceive you.”
— Matthew 24:4

He repeated the warning:

“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.”
— Matthew 24:11

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
— Matthew 24:24

Deception will not always look foolish or obviously evil. It may appear convincing, respectable, scientific, patriotic, religious, compassionate, or even miraculous.

The words “if it were possible” show that the deception will be extremely persuasive—but Yahweh’s elect will not ultimately be carried away because they remain grounded in His truth.

2. Yahweh’s Word exposes lies

“Thy word is truth.”
— John 17:17

Human authorities can lie. Institutions can become corrupt. Popular opinion can change. But Yahweh’s Word remains the standard by which every claim must be tested.

“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.”
— Psalm 12:6

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.”
— Psalm 119:130

The person whose mind is filled with Scripture develops a standard outside the world’s changing narratives. When a message contradicts Yahweh’s character, commandments, or revealed purpose, His Word brings the contradiction into the light.

3. Obedience produces spiritual understanding

The protection is not merely knowing Bible verses. It comes through living by them.

“A good understanding have all they that do his commandments.”
— Psalm 111:10

“If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God.”
— John 7:17

Obedience clears spiritual vision. A person who is willing to do Yahweh’s will can recognize teaching that opposes it. But someone who already desires the world’s ways can easily accept arguments that justify those desires.

“Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.”
— Psalm 119:104

Obedience does not make a person intellectually infallible. But continued obedience, humility, and correction protect them from remaining trapped in spiritually destructive deception.

4. Loving truth protects us from delusion

Scripture warns about people who are deceived because they do not truly love the truth:

“Because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.”
— 2 Thessalonians 2:10–11

It is not enough to claim that we possess the truth. We must love truth enough to accept it when it corrects us.

A person who loves truth will ask:

  • Is this actually true?
  • What is the evidence?
  • Does Scripture support it?
  • Am I accepting it because it is true—or because it agrees with what I already want to believe?
  • Would I change my position if better evidence proved me wrong?

Those who reject truth repeatedly can eventually lose the ability to recognize it.

5. Yahweh gives His Spirit to those who obey Him

“And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Spirit, whom God hath given to them that obey him.”
— Acts 5:32

Yahweh’s Spirit guides His people into truth:

“Howbeit when it, the Spirit of truth, is come, it will guide you into all truth.”
— John 16:13

The Spirit of Yahweh is not a substitute for Scripture, careful thought, or evidence. It opens the mind to understand Yahweh’s Word and helps produce wisdom, self-control, courage, and discernment.

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
— 2 Timothy 1:7

Propaganda often works by producing fear, anger, pride, or panic. Yahweh’s Spirit produces a sound mind capable of stopping, testing, and considering before reacting.

6. Yahweh’s sheep recognize Yeshua’s voice

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
— John 10:27

Yeshua’s sheep recognize His voice because they know His teaching, His character, and His way of life.

“And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.”
— John 10:5

The more faithfully we follow Yeshua, the easier it becomes to recognize a voice that appeals to hatred, lawlessness, fear, pride, greed, or blind loyalty to men.

Yeshua’s true sheep do not follow a stranger merely because he is powerful, famous, persuasive, highly educated, patriotic, or religious.

7. The wise test every claim

Scripture does not command blind trust in government, religious leaders, news organizations—or independent voices claiming that everyone else is lying.

“The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.”
— Proverbs 14:15

“He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.”
— Proverbs 18:13

“He that is first in his own cause seemeth just; but his neighbour cometh and searcheth him.”
— Proverbs 18:17

The first account may sound convincing until it is examined. Wisdom listens to more than one side and checks the evidence.

“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:21

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God.”
— 1 John 4:1

We must test official statements, religious teaching, alternative media, social-media posts—and our own assumptions. Distrusting everything is not discernment. It is another trap that can leave people vulnerable to anyone who presents himself as an enemy of the “establishment.”

8. The Bereans verified what they were taught

“These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”
— Acts 17:11

The Bereans did not reject Paul automatically, nor did they believe him blindly. They listened and then checked his teaching against Scripture.

That is the biblical pattern:

  1. Listen without surrendering your judgment.
  2. Examine the complete claim.
  3. Compare it with Scripture.
  4. Verify facts wherever possible.
  5. Consider the source’s actions and fruit.
  6. Hold fast only to what proves true.

9. Good and evil are known by their fruits

“Ye shall know them by their fruits.”
— Matthew 7:16

A message or movement may use impressive words, but its fruit reveals its nature.

Look for the results:

  • Does it produce truth or repeated falsehood?
  • Humility or self-exaltation?
  • Repentance or excuses?
  • Love or hatred?
  • Sound judgment or constant panic?
  • Obedience to Yahweh or loyalty to a human leader?
  • Willingness to be corrected or punishment for questioning?

“For every tree is known by his own fruit.”
— Luke 6:44

When leaders constantly make claims that fail, conceal facts, demand unquestioning loyalty, or attack anyone who asks honest questions, their fruit provides a warning.

10. We must not trust human authority above Yahweh

“It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”
— Psalm 118:8

“Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.”
— Psalm 146:3

Governments and institutions consist of fallible human beings. They may sometimes tell the truth and sometimes conceal, distort, or misunderstand it. Our confidence must never rest entirely upon them.

Truth is determined by evidence and agreement with reality—not merely by whether a claim comes from an official or unofficial source.

“We ought to obey God rather than men.”
— Acts 5:29

When human commands directly oppose Yahweh’s commands, Yahweh must be obeyed.

11. Pride makes people easier to deceive

“The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.”
— Proverbs 12:15

One of deception’s greatest weapons is convincing people that they are too intelligent or spiritually enlightened to be deceived.

“Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”
— 1 Corinthians 10:12

A humble person can say:

  • “I may be wrong.”
  • “I need more information.”
  • “I will examine the other side.”
  • “I must correct myself if the facts prove otherwise.”

That humility is a powerful defense against deception.

12. Yahweh promises wisdom to those who ask

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally… and it shall be given him.”
— James 1:5

We should ask Yahweh daily for wisdom to recognize truth, reject lies, control our emotions, and avoid rash conclusions.

“For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”
— Proverbs 2:6

“Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.”
— Proverbs 2:9

13. Those who remain in Yeshua’s teaching will know the truth

“If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
— John 8:31–32

Notice the condition: “If ye continue in my word.”

Protection from deception is not promised merely because someone calls himself a believer. It belongs to those who continue in Yeshua’s teaching—loving truth, obeying Yahweh, remaining humble, testing every claim, and accepting correction.

Practical safeguards against deception

Those who follow Yahweh should:

  • Study Scripture regularly and in context.
  • Pray for wisdom and a sound mind.
  • Obey what Yahweh has already revealed.
  • Refuse to make decisions while controlled by fear or anger.
  • Hear the whole matter before forming a conclusion.
  • Check original evidence rather than relying only on headlines.
  • Compare multiple reliable sources.
  • Test religious and political leaders by their fruit.
  • Never give unquestioning loyalty to a human being.
  • Remain willing to admit and correct mistakes.
  • Love truth more than any preferred narrative.

Conclusion

Yahweh does not protect His people by making them automatically correct about every subject. He protects them by giving them His Word, His Spirit, His commandments, wisdom, humility, and the ability to test what they hear.

The elect will not ultimately be swept away by the great spiritual deception because they recognize Yeshua’s voice and refuse to follow strangers. They love truth more than comfort, popularity, political loyalty, or personal pride.

“Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.”
— Psalm 119:133

“Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.”
— Psalm 119:165

The safest place in an age of deception is not blind confidence in human institutions—or automatic distrust of everything. It is humble, faithful obedience to Yahweh, continual study of His Word, and a sincere love of truth.

[Verse 1]

The wages of sin is death,
But eternal life is Yahweh’s gift.
The soul that sins shall surely die—
That is the word we cannot deny.

Yeshua said both body and soul
Can be destroyed when judgment falls.
The wicked are not preserved in pain;
They perish and do not remain.

[Pre-Chorus]
Let Scripture speak, let truth be heard:
Death means death according to the Word.

[Chorus]
They will perish, they will be destroyed,
Burned into ashes, their life made void.
The fire will finish what judgment began—
Eternal life is Yahweh’s gift to man.

No endless screams through eternal night,
No immortal souls in a lake of fire.
The second death is the final end—
But everlasting life awaits Yahweh’s friends.

[Verse 2]
“The day will come,” the prophet said,
“Leaving neither root nor branch.”
The proud and wicked will be consumed;
Under our feet their ashes will lie.

Like smoke that rises and fades away,
The wicked vanish in judgment’s day.
A little while and they shall not be;
This is the truth that sets us free.

[Pre-Chorus]
Let Scripture speak, let truth be heard:
Death means death according to the Word.

[Chorus]
They will perish, they will be destroyed,
Burned into ashes, their life made void.
The fire will finish what judgment began—
Eternal life is Yahweh’s gift to man.

No endless screams through eternal night,
No immortal souls in a lake of fire.
The second death is the final end—
But everlasting life awaits Yahweh’s friends.

[Verse 3]
Unquenchable fire cannot be restrained;
It burns until nothing more remains.
The chaff is consumed, the flames complete
The righteous judgment Yahweh decrees.

Everlasting punishment is death without end—
A final verdict that will not be reversed.
Not endless punishing, age after age,
But the lasting consequence of judgment’s flame.

[Bridge]
Only Yahweh has immortality;
The dead know nothing and peacefully sleep.
Until the resurrection, silent they lie;
No conscious torment when people die.

The wicked become as though they had not been;
No sorrow remains, no suffering or sin.
When Yahweh makes all creation new,
Every word He has spoken will prove true.

[Breakdown]
Destroyed—
Not preserved.

They perish—
According to the Word.

Burned up—
Until nothing remains.

The second death—
The wages of sin.

[Final Chorus]
They will perish, they will be destroyed,
Burned into ashes, their life made void.
The fire will finish what judgment began—
Eternal life is Yahweh’s gift to man.

No endless screams through eternal night,
No immortal souls in a lake of fire.
The second death is the final end—
But everlasting life awaits Yahweh’s friends.

[Outro]
Death will be gone,
And sorrow will cease.
No crying or pain—
Only everlasting peace.

The wicked shall perish;
The faithful shall live.
Eternal life is not something we possess—
It is the gift that Yahweh gives.

Yahweh’s Plan From the Beginning

Yahweh’s Plan From the Beginning

F
rom the beginning Yahweh knew that the angels who he placed on earth might rebel. Angels as spirit beings cannot be destroy. From the beginning Yahweh had a plan to create man, not as spirit as he did the angels. He created man flesh and blood so they could die if they sinned as the angels did. From the beginning he planed for that eventually. He planned to give himself as payment for the sins of man

Yahweh’s Plan From the Beginning

The rebellion of the angels did not surprise Yahweh. Before mankind was created, Yahweh understood that beings given freedom of choice could turn against Him. Therefore, the creation of mortal man—and the sacrifice of Yeshua—was part of His purpose from the beginning.

Yahweh’s foreordained plan. Scripture describes redemption as something Yahweh had already prepared before the foundation of the world.

1. Yahweh created the angels before He prepared the earth for man

When Yahweh formed the earth, the angels were already present:

“Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? … When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of Elohim shouted for joy?”

— Job 38:4, 7

The angels rejoiced because the earth was originally created in beauty and order. Some of them were evidently given responsibility connected with the earth.

Satan was later called:

“The god of this world.”

— 2 Corinthians 4:4

Yeshua also referred to:

“The devil and his angels.”

— Matthew 25:41

This indicates that certain angels placed under Satan’s leadership eventually joined him in rebellion.

2. Yahweh knew that free moral beings could rebel

Scripture says that Yahweh understands every possible outcome:

“Known unto Elohim are all his works from the beginning of the world.”

— Acts 15:18

“Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done.”

— Isaiah 46:10

Angels were not created as mindless machines. They could choose whether to remain faithful. Some abandoned the position Yahweh had given them:

“And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.”

— Jude 6

Satan himself was originally upright:

“Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.”

— Ezekiel 28:15

Yahweh did not create Satan evil. He created a magnificent spirit being who later corrupted himself:

“Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness.”

— Ezekiel 28:17

The capacity to choose loyalty necessarily included the possibility of rebellion. Yahweh understood that possibility from the beginning.

3. The rebellious angels were not simply put to death

Scripture portrays rebellious angels as being restrained and reserved for judgment:

“God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell [tartarōsas], and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment.”

— 2 Peter 2:4

“The angels which kept not their first estate… he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness.”

— Jude 6

This is different from the judgment placed upon mortal man. Scripture repeatedly says that human beings can die:

“The soul that sinneth, it shall die.”

— Ezekiel 18:4

The Bible does not directly make the absolute statement, “Spirit beings cannot be destroyed.” Its consistent picture, however, is that the rebellious angels are restrained and punished rather than described as dying in the same manner as flesh-and-blood humanity.

4. Yahweh deliberately created mankind mortal

Yahweh did not create Adam as an immortal spirit being. He formed him from physical matter:

“And Yahweh Elohim formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

— Genesis 2:7

Man did not receive an immortal soul. Man became a living soul—a physical creature dependent upon Yahweh for life.

Yahweh warned Adam that disobedience would result in death:

“For in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”

— Genesis 2:17

After Adam sinned, Yahweh said:

“Dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.”

— Genesis 3:19

Man was created:

“A little lower than the angels.”

— Psalm 8:5; Hebrews 2:7

Human beings were therefore made mortal. If they followed the way of rebellion, they could die. Their sinful existence would not have to continue forever.

5. Mortality also made redemption possible

Being mortal was not merely a means of ending rebellion. It also allowed sinful human beings to repent, be forgiven, die to the old life, and eventually receive a new nature.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of Elohim is eternal life through Yeshua Messiah our Lord.”

— Romans 6:23

Eternal life is a gift. It is not something man naturally possesses.

Those who faithfully follow Yahweh will eventually be changed from mortal to immortal:

“This corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.”

— 1 Corinthians 15:53

Yahweh is therefore not merely reproducing another order of angels. He is developing children who experience weakness, temptation, repentance, mercy, obedience, and redemption before receiving immortality.

6. Yeshua’s sacrifice was planned before mankind sinned

The strongest proof that Yahweh anticipated mankind’s fall is that Yeshua’s sacrifice was foreordained before the world’s foundation:

“Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you.”

— 1 Peter 1:20

Yahweh did not wait until Adam sinned and then hurriedly invent salvation. The One who would give His life for mankind had already been chosen.

Paul wrote that Yahweh’s purpose and grace were given to us:

“Before the world began.”

— 2 Timothy 1:9

Believers were chosen in Yeshua:

“Before the foundation of the world.”

— Ephesians 1:4

Yeshua is also described symbolically as:

“The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”

— Revelation 13:8

This does not mean Yeshua was literally killed before creation. It means His sacrificial role belonged to Yahweh’s purpose from the beginning.

7. Yeshua became flesh because a spirit being could not die as man’s sacrifice

To pay the penalty for human sin, Yeshua had to become mortal flesh and blood:

“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same.”

— Hebrews 2:14

“But we see Yeshua, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death.”

— Hebrews 2:9

Yeshua was made flesh specifically so that He could suffer death. He then offered His sinless life for everyone:

“That he by the grace of Elohim should taste death for every man.”

— Hebrews 2:9

“While we were yet sinners, Messiah died for us.”

— Romans 5:8

The Creator accepted mortality so that mortal mankind could ultimately receive eternal life.

8. Mankind was created with a destiny greater than that of angels

Angels are called ministering spirits:

“Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?”

— Hebrews 1:14

The world to come will not be placed under the angels:

“For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come.”

— Hebrews 2:5

Those who are glorified will even participate in judging angels:

“Know ye not that we shall judge angels?”

— 1 Corinthians 6:3

Man begins lower than the angels—weak, physical and mortal—but faithful human beings are destined to become glorified children in Yahweh’s family.

Conclusion

From the beginning, Yahweh knew that giving His creatures freedom of choice created the possibility of rebellion. The rebellion of Satan and the angels did not catch Him unprepared.

Yahweh therefore created mankind differently:

  • Angels were created as spirit beings.
  • Man was created from dust—physical and mortal.
  • Human sin could end in death rather than continuing eternally.
  • Mortal human beings could repent and receive forgiveness.
  • Yeshua could become flesh and pay the penalty for human sin.
  • Those who overcome could later receive immortality as Yahweh’s children.

Yeshua’s sacrifice was not an emergency repair made after Adam sinned. He was foreordained before the foundation of the world. Yahweh knew what mankind might do, knew what redemption would cost, and nevertheless proceeded with His purpose.

Before He formed Adam from the dust, Yahweh had already determined that He would bear the cost of bringing His future children into His eternal family.

[Verse 1]

In the beginning, Yahweh made
The heavens and the earth;
Perfect were the works of His hands,
Beautiful from their birth.
He did not form the earth in vain,
Or make a world of night;
He formed it to be inhabited,
In order, life, and light.

[Pre-Chorus]
But something changed upon the earth;
The darkness covered all.
Creation had become a waste
After rebellion’s fall.

[Chorus]
Renew the face of the earth,
Bring back the light and life;
Order rising from the ruin,
Beauty after strife.
Six days of restoration,
Prepared by Yahweh’s hand—
Renew the face of the earth
And make a home for man.

[Verse 2]
The shining cherub lifted up
His heart in sinful pride;
He sought to raise his throne above
And would not be denied.
But Yahweh cast the rebel down;
Like lightning Satan fell.
The earth became a wilderness,
A dark and empty shell.

[Pre-Chorus]
Tohu and bohu—waste and void,
The darkness veiled the deep;
But Yahweh’s Spirit moved upon
The waters in their sleep.

[Chorus]
Renew the face of the earth,
Bring back the light and life;
Order rising from the ruin,
Beauty after strife.
Six days of restoration,
Prepared by Yahweh’s hand—
Renew the face of the earth
And make a home for man.

[Verse 3]
On the first day, light returned;
The darkness fled away.
The heavens were ordered overhead,
The waters given their place.
Dry land appeared, the grasses grew,
The trees brought forth their seed;
The sun and moon marked times and years,
For every appointed season’s need.

[Verse 4]
The seas were filled with living things,
And birds flew through the sky;
The creatures walked upon the land,
As life was multiplied.
Then Yahweh formed mankind at last,
To live upon the earth;
And everything His hands restored
Was very good in worth.

[Bridge]
Creation—then desolation,
Rebellion—then restoration;
Darkness could not overcome
The purpose of the Holy One.

What had become a ruined place
Was covered once again with grace;
Yahweh spoke, and life returned—
The face of all the earth renewed.

[Final Chorus]
Renew the face of the earth,
Bring back the light and life;
Order rising from the ruin,
Beauty after strife.
Six days of restoration,
Prepared by Yahweh’s hand—
Renew the face of the earth
And make a home for man.

Renew the face of the earth;
Let every living thing proclaim:
The One who formed it perfectly
Has restored it by His name.

[Outro]
In the beginning—creation;
Then darkness covered the land.
Six days—restoration,
By the word of Yahweh’s hand.

[Intro]

From the mountain came a voice,
Through the fire, through the flame—
Ten commandments, words of life,
Spoken in Yahweh’s name.

[Verse 1]
“I am Yahweh who set you free,
Who broke the chains of slavery.
You shall have no gods before Me;
Walk in truth and follow Me.”

Do not fashion gods of stone,
Do not bow before a throne
Made by hands that cannot see—
Worship Yahweh faithfully.

[Pre-Chorus]
These are not burdens meant to bind;
They guard the heart, renew the mind.
Written in stone, lived from the heart—
Words of life that set us apart.

[Chorus]
Ten words of life, ten words of truth,
Given to guide us in all that we do.
Love Yahweh, and love your neighbor;
Walk in His ways forever.

Ten words of life, forever they stand,
Spoken by Yahweh, written by His hand.
Heaven and earth may pass away,
But His righteous truth remains.

[Verse 2]
Never take His name in vain;
Honor it and never bring it shame.
Remember the Sabbath, keep it holy—
The seventh day belongs to Yahweh only.

Six days labor, do your work;
From your calling do not turn.
But when the seventh day has come,
Lay your earthly labor down.

[Pre-Chorus]
For in six days Yahweh made
Heaven, earth, the sea and waves.
He blessed the day and made it holy—
A sign for those who serve Him only.

[Chorus]
Ten words of life, ten words of truth,
Given to guide us in all that we do.
Love Yahweh, and love your neighbor;
Walk in His ways forever.

Ten words of life, forever they stand,
Spoken by Yahweh, written by His hand.
Heaven and earth may pass away,
But His righteous truth remains.

[Verse 3]
Honor your father and your mother,
Learn to care for one another.
You shall not murder or take a life;
You shall not break the marriage tie.

You shall not steal what is not yours;
Speak no lies at your neighbor’s door.
Do not covet another one’s gain;
Keep your heart from selfish desire.

[Bridge]
No other gods—
No idols made—
Do not dishonor
Yahweh’s name.

Remember the Sabbath—
The seventh day.
Honor your parents—
Walk in Yahweh’s way.

Do not murder—
Be faithful in life.
Do not steal—
And do not lie.

Do not covet
What you see.
Let Yahweh’s truth
Live within me.

[Breakdown]
Not just words upon a stone,
But a path that leads us home.
“Love Me and keep My commands”—
This is where obedience stands.

[Final Chorus]
Ten words of life, ten words of truth,
Given to guide us in all that we do.
Love Yahweh, and love your neighbor;
Walk in His ways forever.

Ten words of life, forever they stand,
Spoken by Yahweh, written by His hand.
With all our hearts, we will obey—
And walk within His righteous way.

[Outro]
Written in stone,
Written in the heart—
Ten words of life
That set us apart.

Remember the Sabbath,
The seventh day—
Love and obey;
Walk in Yahweh’s way.

REWARD OR REJECTION (song)

REWARD OR REJECTION

REWARD OR REJECTION (song)

[Verse 1]
Two endings wait beyond this life,
Two words that Yeshua will say:
“Well done, good and faithful servant,”
Or, “I never knew your way.”
Not the crowds who knew our name,
Not the praise that came from men—
But whether we remained obedient,
And faithful to the end.

[Pre-Chorus]
When no one saw the sacrifice,
When standing true meant standing alone,
Yeshua saw each faithful choice—
And He will recognize His own.

[Chorus]
Reward or rejection—
Which words will we hear?
“Well done, My faithful servant,
You remained when none were near.”
Reward or rejection—
We must choose while there is time.
Not everyone who cries, “Lord, Lord,”
Has surrendered heart and mind.

[Verse 2]
They spoke His name and did great works,
Convinced that they were right;
But religion without submission
Could not survive the light.
They performed before the people,
Yet walked in lawlessness—
They assumed they had His favor,
But never passed the test.

[Pre-Chorus]
It is not activity He seeks,
Nor miracles that men applaud;
But humble hearts that trust His Word
And walk obediently with Yahweh.

[Chorus]
Reward or rejection—
Which words will we hear?
“Well done, My faithful servant,
You remained when none were near.”
Reward or rejection—
We must choose while there is time.
Not everyone who cries, “Lord, Lord,”
Has surrendered heart and mind.

[Verse 3]
He saw the quiet Sabbath kept,
The times we would not bend;
The lonely road of obedience,
The faith that would not end.
He saw the grief and isolation,
Every tear and every loss;
Every time we chose His Kingdom,
No matter what the cost.

[Bridge]
To be known by Yeshua—
To hear Him speak our name;
To know our quiet faithfulness
Was never lived in vain.
To enter resurrection life,
His Kingdom and His joy—
This is why we stand today;
This is what we’re living for.

[Breakdown]
One was loyal—
One performed.
One obeyed—
One ignored.
One sought Yahweh’s approval;
One assumed that it was won.
