The wages of sin is death,
But eternal life is Yahweh’s gift.
The soul that sins shall surely die—
That is the word we cannot deny.
Yeshua said both body and soul
Can be destroyed when judgment falls.
The wicked are not preserved in pain;
They perish and do not remain.
[Pre-Chorus]
Let Scripture speak, let truth be heard:
Death means death according to the Word.

They will perish, they will be destroyed,
Burned into ashes, their life made void.
The fire will finish what judgment began—
Eternal life is Yahweh’s gift to man.
No endless screams through eternal night,
No immortal souls in a lake of fire.
The second death is the final end—
But everlasting life awaits Yahweh’s friends.

“The day will come,” the prophet said,
“Leaving neither root nor branch.”
The proud and wicked will be consumed;
Under our feet their ashes will lie.
Like smoke that rises and fades away,
The wicked vanish in judgment’s day.
A little while and they shall not be;

Only Yahweh has immortality;
The dead know nothing and peacefully sleep.
Until the resurrection, silent they lie;
No conscious torment when people die.
The wicked become as though they had not been;
No sorrow remains, no suffering or sin.
When Yahweh makes all creation new,
Every word He has spoken will prove true.
