[Verse 1]
Before the world called us by another name,
There were faithful people walking in the Way.
Believing all the Law and Prophets say,
Following Yeshua, walking as He walked each day.
He said, “I am the truth, the life, the Way;
No one comes unto the Father but through Me.”
He lived the Torah perfectly,
Showing us the way that Yahweh’s children should be.
[Pre-Chorus]
Not the traditions handed down by men,
But the ancient path that leads us home again.
[Chorus]
We are followers of the Way,
Keeping faith in Yeshua every day.
By grace we’re saved—we cannot earn it;
But love obeys, and our lives confirm it.
The commandments of Yahweh,
And the faith of Yeshua light our way.
With His Torah written on our hearts,
We are followers—followers of the Way.
[Verse 2]
Yeshua kept the Sabbath holy and true,
Observed the Feasts as Yahweh told Him to.
He never sinned or cast the Law aside;
He fulfilled it by the perfect life He lived.
Paul believed the Torah and the Prophets too:
“The Law is holy, just, and good and true.”
Faith does not make Yahweh’s Law in vain;
Through a changed and willing heart, we establish it again.
[Pre-Chorus]
Not to purchase life or earn salvation,
Obedience is love’s demonstration.
[Chorus]
We are followers of the Way,
Keeping faith in Yeshua every day.
By grace we’re saved—we cannot earn it;
But love obeys, and our lives confirm it.
The commandments of Yahweh,
And the faith of Yeshua light our way.
With His Torah written on our hearts,
We are followers—followers of the Way.
[Bridge]
We remember Yahweh’s Sabbath day;
We reject the traditions that lead us astray.
We honor His Feasts and what He calls clean,
And proclaim the coming Kingdom of our King.
No clergy ruling over the brethren—
Under Yeshua, we are all as one.
We test every teaching by Yahweh’s Word,
And walk in the truth that we have heard.
[Breakdown]
Not everyone who cries, “Master, Master,”
Will enter the Kingdom that is drawing near.
But those who do the will of the Father
Will faithfully endure and overcome their fear.
[Final Chorus]
We are followers of the Way,
Keeping faith in Yeshua every day.
By grace we’re saved—we cannot earn it;
But love obeys, and our lives confirm it.
The commandments of Yahweh,
And the faith of Yeshua light our way.
With His Torah written on our hearts,
We are followers—followers of the Way.
[Outro]
The Torah shows the path Yahweh gave;
Yeshua lived it perfectly and came to save.
We do not obey to purchase grace—
We obey because we love Him,
And we follow in His Way.
Followers of the Way…
Faithful to the end…
Until Yeshua comes again.
