But religion without submission

They assumed they had His favor,
But never passed the test.

It is not activity He seeks,
Nor miracles that men applaud;
But humble hearts that trust His Word
And walk obediently with Yahweh.

He saw the quiet Sabbath kept,
The times we would not bend;
The lonely road of obedience,
The faith that would not end.
He saw the grief and isolation,
Every tear and every loss;
Every time we chose His Kingdom,
No matter what the cost.

To be known by Yeshua—
To hear Him speak our name;
To know our quiet faithfulness
Was never lived in vain.
To enter resurrection life,
His Kingdom and His joy—
This is why we stand today;
This is what we’re living for.

One was loyal—
One performed.
One obeyed—
One ignored.
One sought Yahweh’s approval;
One assumed that it was won.
The difference was not talent—
It was what their lives became.

May we choose the faithful way;
Putting Yahweh first in everything,
