From the beginning Yahweh made the way,
A time for labor and a holy day.
Six days He worked, creation came to be,
Then blessed the seventh for eternity.

He gave the pattern, He made it plain,
Work while it's time, then rest again.
Six days for labor beneath the sun,
The seventh is holy when the work is done.

Remember the Sabbath, keep it set apart,
Written by Yahweh, written on the heart.

Six days you shall labor,
And do all your work.
But the seventh day is Sabbath,
A holy day to Yahweh.
Six days to build, six days to sow,
Six days to work and watch it grow.
Then lay your earthly labor away—
Remember and rest on the seventh day.

Six days they gathered manna from the ground,
But on the Sabbath none would be found.
"Six days shall work be done," Yahweh said,
Then rest from your labor as He commanded.

The diligent hand has bread to eat,
The faithful worker's labor is sweet.
Go to the ant and consider her ways,
Working in season through appointed days.

Yeshua said, "Work while it is day,"
There comes a night when work fades away.
So use the time that Yahweh has given,
With honest hands and faithful living.

Not everyone can labor the same—
Age and weakness bring changing days.
But Yahweh's pattern still remains:
Six days for labor, the seventh set apart.
