[Intro]
Many will come in My name…
And many will be deceived.
So search the Scriptures.
Test every word.
Follow Yeshua—
Not men.
[Verse 1]
Many will come saying they speak in His name,
Wearing religion, seeking their fame.
Signs and wonders may dazzle the eyes,
Even the elect are warned of disguise.
Satan himself can appear as the light,
Making deception look holy and right.
So don't trust a title, a prophet, or plan,
Put all your trust in Yahweh—not man.
[Pre-Chorus]
Search the Scriptures every day,
Test every spirit, test every claim.
Yeshua is the Head, the Truth and the Way,
His sheep hear His voice and follow His name.
[Chorus]
Follow the Way—not men!
Follow Yeshua to the end.
Prove all things, hold fast what's true,
Let the Word of Yahweh lead you through.
No earthly ruler, no prophet's throne,
Yeshua is the Head alone.
Stand on the Word again and again—
Follow the Way—not men!
[Verse 2]
The Bereans listened, then opened the Word,
Searching to prove everything they had heard.
They didn't surrender their conscience away,
They tested the teaching day after day.
The early believers gathered at home,
No mighty temples or religious throne.
Breaking their bread, learning Yahweh's Way,
Walking in truth and learning to obey.
[Chorus]
Follow the Way—not men!
Follow Yeshua to the end.
Prove all things, hold fast what's true,
Let the Word of Yahweh lead you through.
No earthly ruler, no prophet's throne,
Yeshua is the Head alone.
Stand on the Word again and again—
Follow the Way—not men!
[Verse 3]
Beware of the shepherd who glorifies self,
Who claims Yahweh speaks through nobody else.
"The Elijah," "That Prophet," the one chosen voice—
Test every claim before making your choice.
Do his prophecies stand? Do his fruits remain?
Does he rule through division, fear, and pain?
Does he point you to Yahweh, or build his own name?
By their fruits you will know them—Yeshua proclaimed.
[Bridge]
We will not follow fear!
We will not follow pride!
We will not follow men
Who push Yeshua aside!
One Master!
One Messiah!
One Head over all!
Yeshua leads His people—
We answer to His call!
[Breakdown]
Test every spirit.
Search Yahweh's Word.
Don't fear the questions.
Prove what you've heard.
No organization can take Yeshua's place.
No human leader can stand in His space.
We are brethren—let servants be small,
And let Yahweh and Yeshua be exalted above all!
[Final Chorus]
FOLLOW THE WAY—NOT MEN!
Follow Yeshua to the end!
Prove all things, hold fast what's true,
Let the Word of Yahweh lead you through!
No earthly ruler, no prophet's throne,
Yeshua is the Head alone!
Stand on the Word again and again—
FOLLOW THE WAY—NOT MEN!
[Outro]
Follow Yahweh.
Follow Yeshua.
Search the Scriptures.
Test every claim.
Hold fast to what is good.
Follow the Way…
Not men.
