Yahweh’s Daily To-Do List (song)

[Verse 1]
When morning breaks and I open my eyes,
Before I face the troubles of this life,
I will turn my heart to Yahweh above
And begin each day surrounded by His love.

When answers do not come and the road is long,
I will wait on Yahweh and remain strong.
I may not understand what He has planned,
But I know my times are safely in His hands.

[Pre-Chorus]
When I cannot see the way ahead,
I will remember what Yahweh has said.

[Chorus]
Wait patiently, walk by faith,
Pray about everything I face.
Think of others, show them love,
Trust in Yahweh above.
Read His Word and then obey,
Give Him thanks throughout the day.
This will be my daily prayer:
“Yahweh, prepare me for Your Kingdom.”

[Verse 2]
I will walk by faith and not by sight,
Holding to His promises through the night.
What I see may fill my heart with fear,
But Yahweh is faithful, and He is always near.

Before I worry, I will kneel and pray,
Giving every fear and care away.
I will seek His will in all I do,
Knowing He is merciful, wise, and true.

[Pre-Chorus]
When my heart is burdened and afraid,
I will trust the promises He made.

[Chorus]
Wait patiently, walk by faith,
Pray about everything I face.
Think of others, show them love,
Trust in Yahweh above.
Read His Word and then obey,
Give Him thanks throughout the day.
This will be my daily prayer:
“Yahweh, prepare me for Your Kingdom.”

[Verse 3]
Open up my eyes to those in need;
Help me show compassion through every deed.
May I lift the weary, comfort those who cry,
And serve them as Yeshua did throughout His life.

I will trust in Yahweh with all my heart,
And not depend upon my thoughts alone.
I will acknowledge Him in all my ways,
And follow where His righteous Word may lead.

[Bridge]
Your Word is a lamp before my feet,
A light upon the path for me.
Teach me Your statutes; make me wise;
Write Your truth upon my heart and mind.

Your mercy is new with every dawn;
Your faithfulness keeps leading on.
In every trial, come what may,
I will remember to give You praise.

[Final Chorus]
Wait patiently, walk by faith,
Pray about everything I face.
Think of others, show them love,
Trust in Yahweh above.
Read His Word and then obey,
Give Him thanks throughout the day.
This will be my daily prayer:
“Yahweh, prepare me for Your Kingdom.”

[Outro]
Wait patiently…
Walk by faith…
Pray and trust Him every day.
Read His Word…
Give Him praise…
Yahweh, guide me in Your ways.

Prepare my heart,
Prepare my life,
For service in Your Kingdom.

Yahweh’s Daily To-Do List (song)

YAHWEH’S DAILY TO-DO LIST

Life can become crowded with duties, worries, disappointments, and plans. We often begin the day thinking about everything we must accomplish. But Scripture gives us a more important list—a spiritual “to-do list” that keeps our hearts centered on Yahweh.

These seven practices will not remove every trial, but they will help us face each day with faith, peace, wisdom, and love.

1. WAIT PATIENTLY FOR YAHWEH

Psalm 27:14

“Wait on Yahweh: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on Yahweh.”

Waiting does not mean doing nothing. It means remaining faithful while trusting Yahweh’s timing.

We often want immediate answers. We want the problem solved, the door opened, the relationship restored, or the pain removed. But Yahweh sees what we cannot see. Sometimes He makes us wait because He is preparing circumstances—or preparing us—for what lies ahead.

Isaiah 40:31

“But they that wait upon Yahweh shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles.”

While we are waiting, Yahweh is working. He uses seasons of waiting to strengthen our faith, develop patience, and teach us to depend upon Him.

Daily reminder: I will not run ahead of Yahweh. I will trust His timing.

2. WALK BY FAITH

2 Corinthians 5:7

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

Faith means trusting Yahweh even when we cannot see how everything will work out.

What we see may frighten or discourage us. Circumstances may appear hopeless, but our physical sight does not reveal the whole story. Yahweh sees the beginning, the end, and every step in between.

Hebrews 11:1

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Faith is not pretending that our problems do not exist. It is knowing that our problems are never greater than Yahweh.

Romans 8:28

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Not everything that happens is good, but Yahweh can use every experience to produce good in the lives of those who love Him.

Daily reminder: I may not understand what Yahweh is doing, but I will continue walking with Him.

3. PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING

Philippians 4:6–7

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

“And the peace of Elohim, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Yeshua our savior.”

Yahweh invites us to bring everything to Him. No burden is too heavy, and no concern is too small.

Prayer is more than asking Yahweh to give us what we want. It is opening our hearts to Him, seeking His will, confessing our sins, thanking Him, and listening to the guidance of His Word.

1 John 5:14

“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.”

We should pray in faith, but we must also submit to Yahweh’s will. He knows what will truly benefit us and prepare us for His Kingdom.

1 Peter 5:7

“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

Daily reminder: Before I worry, I will pray. After I pray, I will place the matter in Yahweh’s hands.

4. THINK ABOUT THE NEEDS OF OTHERS

Philippians 2:4

“Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.”

The natural human tendency is to concentrate on our own problems, needs, and desires. Yahweh teaches us to notice the burdens carried by those around us.

Thinking of others may involve offering encouragement, listening patiently, helping someone in need, forgiving an offense, or praying for someone who is suffering.

Galatians 6:2

“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Yeshua.”

Yeshua demonstrated this way of life perfectly. He did not come to be served but to serve.

Mark 10:45

“For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister.”

Serving others does not require wealth, authority, or special ability. A kind word, a sincere prayer, or a small act of compassion can lift someone who feels forgotten.

Daily reminder: I will ask Yahweh to show me someone I can encourage or help today.

5. TRUST IN YAHWEH

Proverbs 3:5–6

“Trust in Yahweh with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Our own understanding is limited. We do not always know why something happened or where a particular road will lead. Yahweh’s wisdom, however, is perfect.

Trusting Yahweh means allowing His Word—not our feelings, fears, or human traditions—to guide our decisions.

Psalm 37:5

“Commit thy way unto Yahweh; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”

We should do what is right, make wise decisions, and then entrust the outcome to Yahweh. Trust releases us from believing that everything depends entirely upon us.

Daily reminder: I will obey what Yahweh has revealed and trust Him with what I cannot control.

6. READ AND OBEY YAHWEH’S WORD

Psalm 119:12

“Blessed art thou, O Yahweh: teach me thy statutes.”

We should not read the Bible merely to complete a daily obligation. We read because we want Yahweh to teach us how to think, live, worship, and treat other people.

Psalm 119:105

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

Yahweh’s Word gives enough light for our next step. We may not see the entire path, but Scripture shows us how to move forward faithfully.

James 1:22

“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”

Knowledge alone does not transform us. We must apply what we learn. A truth that is understood but never obeyed cannot guide our lives.

Joshua 1:8

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night.”

To meditate on Yahweh’s Word means to think deeply about it and consider how it applies to our lives.

Daily reminder: I will read Yahweh’s Word, think about its meaning, and practice what it teaches.

7. GIVE THANKS TO YAHWEH

Psalm 136:1

“O give thanks unto Yahweh; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.”

Thankfulness changes our focus. It does not deny our sorrow or pretend that life is easy. It reminds us that pain is not the only truth in our lives.

Even during trials, we can thank Yahweh for His mercy, His promises, His truth, His coming Kingdom, and the hope of the resurrection.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of Elohim in Yeshua our savior concerning you.”

Scripture does not say that we must be thankful for every painful event. It teaches us to remain thankful in every circumstance because Yahweh has not abandoned us.

Lamentations 3:22–23

“It is of Yahweh’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.”

“They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”

Daily reminder: I will deliberately remember Yahweh’s blessings and thank Him for His enduring mercy.

A SPIRITUAL CHECKLIST FOR EACH DAY

Before the day ends, ask yourself:

  • Did I wait patiently instead of forcing my own solution?
  • Did I walk by faith rather than allowing appearances to control me?
  • Did I bring my worries to Yahweh in prayer?
  • Did I consider the needs and feelings of others?
  • Did I trust Yahweh more than my own understanding?
  • Did I read, consider, and obey His Word?
  • Did I thank Yahweh for His goodness and mercy?

This list is not a way to earn salvation. It is a pattern of life that helps us grow in Yahweh’s character and prepare for service in His Kingdom.

Conclusion

The world gives us endless lists of things to accomplish. Yahweh gives us something greater: a way of life.

Wait patiently.
Walk by faith.
Pray about everything.
Think of others.
Trust Yahweh.
Study and obey His Word.
Give thanks continually.

Micah 6:8

“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth Yahweh require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy Elohim”

When these spiritual priorities come first, even an ordinary day becomes part of our preparation for the Kingdom of Yahweh.

[Verse 1]
They say that you are watching me
From somewhere far above,
That you can see these tears I cry
And every pain I suffer.
But would you truly be at peace
If all my grief were known?
Would Yahweh make you watch me hurt
While you could not come home?

[Pre-Chorus]
No, love would never ask you
To witness all my pain.
Yahweh has gently closed your eyes
Until you rise again.

[Chorus]
The truth is so comforting—
You’re resting peacefully.
You do not see the tears I cry
Or all that troubles me.
No sorrow reaches where you sleep,
No pain can enter in.
The truth is so comforting—
I’ll see you once again.

[Verse 2]
The living know that they will die;
The dead know nothing now.
They do not see the passing years
Or hear our grieving sounds.
Just like a child who falls asleep
And wakes when morning comes,
Your next remembered moment
Will be hearing Yeshua’s voice.

[Pre-Chorus]
He’ll call you from your resting place;
You’ll rise at His command.
The One who holds you in His heart
Will take you by the hand.

[Chorus]
The truth is so comforting—
You’re resting peacefully.
You do not see the tears I cry
Or all that troubles me.
No sorrow reaches where you sleep,
No pain can enter in.
The truth is so comforting—
I’ll see you once again.

[Verse 3]
I miss your voice, I miss your smile,
I miss your warm embrace.
I carry all our memories
That time cannot erase.
But death will never have the last
Or separate us always.
Yahweh remembers everything—
Your laughter and your face.

[Bridge]
Inscribed upon His loving hands,
Not one will be forgot.
Safe within His perfect memory,
Until the sleeping wake.
Then Yeshua’s voice will fill the earth:
“Come forth and live again!”
The graves will open, tears will cease,
And death will meet its end.

[Final Chorus]
The truth is so comforting—
You’re resting peacefully.
You do not see this world of pain
Or all that troubles me.
No sorrow reaches where you sleep;
Your life is safe with Him.
The truth is so comforting—
I’ll hold you once again.

[Outro]
You’re resting now, but not forever;
The grave is not the end.
Yahweh remembers, Yeshua will call—
And we will meet again.
Yes, the truth is so comforting:
We will meet again.

THE TRUTH IS SO COMFORTING

A Message to Those Who Have Lost Someone They Love

When someone we love dies, people often try to comfort us by saying:

“They are in heaven looking down on you.”

Although these words are spoken with kindness, consider what that would actually mean. Would our loved ones truly be at peace if they were watching us grieve, suffer, become sick, struggle financially, or endure the painful difficulties of this life?

A loving Creator would not make them witnesses to our sorrow.

The Bible gives us a far more comforting truth: our loved ones are peacefully resting in the grave. They are not suffering, worrying, or watching the troubles taking place on the earth.

“For the living know that they will die; but the dead know nothing.”
—Ecclesiastes 9:5

The dead are not conscious of the passing of time. They are not looking down from heaven. They are not watching their families cry or witnessing the pain of those they left behind.

“His sons come to honor, and he does not know it; they are brought low, and he does not perceive it.”
—Job 14:21

The Bible repeatedly describes death as sleep.

“Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up.”
—John 11:11

Lazarus was not watching his sisters from heaven. He was asleep in death until Yeshua called him from the grave. When Yeshua cried, “Lazarus, come forth,” Lazarus awakened and came out of the tomb.

This is the wonderful hope Yahweh gives us.

Our loved ones are resting peacefully. They are unaware of the suffering taking place in this world. To them, no time is passing. Their next conscious moment will be the moment Yahweh awakens them in the resurrection.

“Your dead shall live; together with my dead body they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust.”
—Isaiah 26:19

Yeshua promised:

“The hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth.”
—John 5:28–29

Notice where they are when Yeshua calls them: in their graves. They are sleeping, awaiting His voice.

This truth does not take away our grief. We still miss their voices, their smiles, their embraces, and their presence in our lives. But it gives us something solid to hold on to.

They are not watching us suffer.
They are not worrying about us.
They are not experiencing pain.
They are resting peacefully.

A loving Creator has mercifully shielded them from every sorrow that followed their death. Yahweh remembers them perfectly, and not one of them is forgotten.

“Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands.”
—Isaiah 49:16

The grave is not the end of their story. The same Yahweh who gave them life remembers every detail of who they are. At the appointed time, He will call them, awaken them, and restore them to life.

We do not have to imagine our loved ones watching our tears from heaven. We can know they are sleeping peacefully, protected from the suffering of this world, until the glorious day when Yeshua calls them from their graves.

The truth is so comforting:

Our loved ones are resting.
Yahweh remembers them.
Yeshua will awaken them.
And we will embrace them again in the resurrection.

[Verse 1]

In the silence of the morning,
Before the rising sun,
A promise stirred within my heart—
A word from the Faithful One.
Though Zion cried, “You’ve left me,”
Though sorrow filled the land,
Yahweh answered, “I remember—
You’re inscribed upon My hands.”

[Pre-Chorus]
Not written down in fading ink,
Not something time can hide;
Engraved in everlasting love,
Forever by His side.

[Chorus]
I am inscribed upon Your hands,
You will never forget me.
Through every loss and every tear,
Your faithful eyes still see.
When I feel lost and all alone,
Your promise still remains:
“I have not left or abandoned you—
You’re engraved upon My hands.”

[Verse 2]
You remember every heartache,
Every prayer I could not speak;
You have seen me in the darkness,
You have held me when I’m weak.
Though my feelings say I’m forgotten,
Your truth helps me to stand:
I am always there before You,
I’m inscribed upon Your hands.

[Pre-Chorus]
You see what has been broken,
You know what must be healed;
And all that You have promised
Will one day be revealed.

[Chorus]
I am inscribed upon Your hands,
You will never forget me.
Through every loss and every tear,
Your faithful eyes still see.
When I feel lost and all alone,
Your promise still remains:
“I have not left or abandoned you—
You’re engraved upon My hands.”

[Bridge]
You remember every loved one,
You remember every name;
You remember every faithful step,
Every sorrow, every pain.
You are working toward restoration,
According to Your plan;
Preparing us to enter
The Kingdom that will stand.

[Build]
You have not forgotten!
You have not let me go!
Even when I cannot see it,
Your faithful heart still knows.
What You have promised, You will do;
Your purpose will not fail.
Your mercy lasts forever,
And Your love will still prevail!

[Final Chorus]
I am inscribed upon Your hands,
You will never forget me.
Beyond the grief, beyond the night,
Your coming Kingdom waits for me.
Every wound will one day heal,
Every tear will leave my eyes.
You will restore what has been lost
When Yeshua fills the skies!

[Outro]
I am not forgotten,
I am held within Your plan.
Forever in Your memory,
Inscribed upon Your hands.

Hold on, weary heart—
The darkness soon will end.
Yahweh has remembered…

It won’t be long now.
It won’t be long now.
It won’t be long now—
Until restoration comes.

I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands (song)
