They’re sleeping until they hear His call.

Lazarus slept within the grave,
That’s how Yeshua spoke of death.
Not alive beyond the clouds,
But waiting for returning breath.

Paul never taught an immortal soul,
Flying away when the body grows cold.
His hope was fixed on the coming King,
When the trumpet sounds and the dead shall rise!

This earthly tent will pass away,
This mortal flesh will disappear.
But there's a building from Yahweh,
A body clothed in life without fear.

Paul said, “I would not be unclothed,”
He longed instead to be clothed upon,
For mortality to be swallowed by life
When corruption finally is gone.

Not a spirit wandering without a frame,
Not a soul escaping in death's domain.
But changed to glory at the trumpet's sound,
When Yeshua comes and the saints are crowned!

But every man within his order—
Those who are His AT HIS ARRIVAL!”

David has not ascended to heaven,
The testimony still remains.
He sleeps and waits with all the faithful
For the King who comes again!

Death is not the victory!
The grave is not the end!
Heaven is not our escape—
YESHUA IS COMING AGAIN!

The trumpet sounds!
The graves will open!
The sleeping saints will hear His voice!

Mortality swallowed up by life!
Corruption clothed with immortality!
And those who slept will rise!
