but the Law still stands.

From the beginning You showed us the Way,
Your righteous judgments forever remain.
Every commandment is faithful and true,
Yahweh, there is no changing in You.
Men say the Law has faded away,
But that's not what the Scriptures say.
Forever established, forever true,
Your Word still tells us what we must do.

I came to destroy the Law."
Till heaven and earth pass away,
Not one stroke shall fall!

Sacrifices came because of sin,
A shadow pointing ahead to Him.
The blood of animals could never save,
They pointed toward the sacrifice He gave.
Yeshua came, the offering complete,
One sacrifice, perfect and complete.
The shadows ended when the payment was made,
But righteousness was never swept away!

The covenant promise was never
"Throw My commandments away."
"I'll write My Law within their hearts,"
And teach them how to obey!
