Yahweh’s warning still remains;
Do not follow after nations,
Do not worship as they praise.
We cannot take their empty customs,
Give them new and holy names;
What Yahweh never commanded
Cannot honor Him today.

But a pagan form of worship
Could not be made holy by a name.
Strange fire burned before Him,
Something He did not command;
We cannot mix truth with falsehood
And believe that it will stand.

His Word must lead the way;
Love is more than words we speak—
Love is choosing to obey.

Tabernacles’ Kingdom light;
Then the blessed Last Great Day—
All reveal His perfect plan.

Yeshua walked in obedience,
Kept the Sabbath and the feasts;
His apostles followed after,
Walking faithfully in these.
“If you say that you abide in Me,
Then walk the way I walked.”
Followers of The Way must listen
When the voice of Yahweh calls.

Come out of man’s ways;
Lay down every custom
That takes His truth away.
In spirit and in truth,
In faithfulness and love;
We will honor Yahweh
As commanded from above.
