Held In The Mind Of Yahweh (song)
[Verse 1]
Before the stars began to shine,
Before the earth was formed,
Creation waited for Your word,
Then light broke through the dawn.
The heavens tell Your mighty works,
The seas obey Your will;
The One who spoke the worlds to life
Sustains creation still.
[Chorus]
Held in Your mind, held in Your care,
Yahweh, Your presence everywhere.
In You we live, in You we move,
Our every breath a gift of love.
From things unseen, Your wonders shine;
You hold our lives in Your design.
[Verse 2]
You formed mankind from humble dust
And gave the breath of life.
You know the depths of every heart;
No soul escapes Your sight.
Through Yeshua, Your living Word,
Your purpose was made known.
All things were made through Him and held
By power from Your throne.
[Chorus]
Held in Your mind, held in Your care,
Yahweh, Your presence everywhere.
In You we live, in You we move,
Our every breath a gift of love.
From things unseen, Your wonders shine;
You hold our lives in Your design.
[Bridge]
What we can see will pass away;
Your promises remain.
We fix our hope on things unseen,
Beyond this world of pain.
The dust returns unto the earth,
But You remember all;
And those who sleep will rise again
When they shall hear Your call.
[Outro]
Held in Your mind, held in Your care,
Known and remembered everywhere.
Yahweh, our Maker, faithful and true,
Our life and hope are found in You.
